I loved brunch here! The crispy Brussels sprouts are done perfectly and having them with an eggs Benedict was an amazing pair. I was worried this would be a trendy overpriced place with meh food but the beer and the coffee was good and the overall bill was not bad at all. The patio is dog friendly and the bacon portion was generous enough to share with our pups!
The first time I had love chix was at the assembly hall location which is now closed. I came here expecting the same experience but it was the exact opposite. My food was cold, I barely had any chicken in my sandwich it was mostly batter. The fries were okay but their old location had crispy fries with real Parmesan this didn’t taste remotely close. Overall is was pretty underwhelming and didn’t satisfy our fried chicken craving.
Delicious, quality food at reasonable prices, with extremely friendly service - can’t ask for much more than that. Ordered the fried chicken comes with ~5 pieces in a sweet and spicy sauce, cauliflower and beet salad. Everything was tasty and perfectly cooked. The drink was off-menu and created on the spot by the bartender when I asked for something non-alcoholic. It’s some mixture of ginger beer, passion fruit and who knows what else...it was great! Definitely my new go-to chicken place.
A very chic looking restaurant and had very good music playing. The restaurant was clean and had a nice feel on the inside. Ordered the fried chicken burger and the salad and both were delicious. The burger was simple but delicious and the fries were amazing as well. The smashed potatoes are also a more wholesome and snacky side to have in place of the fries. The salad was very decorative with bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and egg. Overall an excellent place to eat with my only issue being the serving time was a little long and that it can seem a little pricey but still a wonderful place to eat good food.
Would not recommend getting this for take out. Firstly the lunch menu on the website is not valid on weekends but it does not state that anywhere. Secondly, the fried chicken sandwich is very messy, for some reason the sauce is a gloopy mess. Luckily I didn't have to spend a long time driving before reaching my destination, otherwise the fried chicken would've been soggy instead of crunchy. Thirdly, they really should rethink the packaging, the styrofoam on the fries is all melted. Honestly not that happy considering it sandwich and fries cost$21 + tax
Swiss Chalet for Hipsters... Nice job! Restaurant is definitely an upgrade from the previous tenant. The food was great, various takes on chicken from the standard Quarter/Half/Whole to various other tapas and large plate options. I had the whole chicken don't judge, I took half of it home for leftovers. It was juicy and tasty, just like that "other rotisserie chicken place." They have a great beer menu with a selection of local craft brews in a can and several guest taps. The service was great... very attentive and friendly. A little more intro the menu might have been nice. The interior of the restaurant is also nicely done. Lots of spots at the bar, some high tables at the front to be in the action, and some low tables for more of a cozy dinner in the back.
Went to Love Chix for brunch and the food was very tasty. The chickpea cassoulet was very tasty and unique and the brrakfast chicken sandwich was great, the chicken here really is amazing! If you're looking for a place that has chill vibes and good food it's a great spot!
Very grateful that they fulfilled my take out order even though it was slightly after closing. I could see people enjoying the beautifully lit patio while I picked up my order of chicken, Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese. Everything was perfect and the pick up was seamless. Excited to try the house sausage and sauerkraut they had available for pick up in their fridge.
It's got a very comfy atmosphere, almost bar/cafe inspired, so that made for a very relaxing time. The food took a bit of time to come but it tasted great. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was amazing, especially considering how filling it was at the end. Fries were also really good too. The lady serving us was also really nice, so that's a plus. I'd give this place a try if you're in the area.
One of the best chicken burgers I have tried in my life. The chicken is tender on the inside while maintaining a hard, crispy shell that is glazed with the perfect amount of sauce. Price point is also very affordable for the quality of food. Will be returning very soon.
