It was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. Very juicy!!! I ordered medium heat and it was on point. The fries were also crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back! Ding a Wing is definitely number 1 in Toronto
Excellent food. We had their fried chicken sandwich, smash burger, and the poutine. All were very good. Probably one of the better smash burgers I’ve had in a while. Def worth checking out.
Absolutely delicious and freshly made chicken sandwiches! Honestly the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Great flavour combos on all the sides as well. Highly recommend.
This has been our go-to lunch spot since it opened a few years ago! We live in the neighborhood and couldn't be happier! The staff are super friendly, as the staff recognized that my husband is a regular and they always give us a side of pickles on the house It was a staple craving while pregnant!. Their poutine is addicting! So cheesy, lots of gravy and Crispy fries. Their chicken sandwiches with dill sauce is always spot on!
This place used to be my favourite fried chicken spot. But over the past year shrinkflation has hit them hard and the sandwich portions feel tiny for the price and wing quality feels less flavourful too. Tried them twice this winter and both been disappointing compared to before.
Took my daughter Crandice here after a long day of betting Russian Mafia money on Teen Jeopardy. She was especially sad because Tamika from Ohio fumbled the second daily double. The chicken was among the best I had in the city. The bread was soft, the chicken was crunchy and juicy, and the coleslaw provided the perfect acidic balance. The cajun fries were so good, and should always be paired with a sandwich. We will definitely be back Not for a while, since Tamika lost us our second mortgage
Ding Ding Ding! Winner, winner chicken dinner! Due to Covid-19, Ding-a-Wing has set up an ordering system at the window. I was still greeted with politeness and positivity. I proceed to order the “Big Mat” Chicken sandwich, however I was eyeing the “Hawt” Chicken sandwich as well. I ultimately chose the “Big Mat” because the description of the sauce was drool some. I added Crispy Smashed Spiced Fries to the order. The sandwich and fries amounted to $18.08. The wait time was about 10 minutes and it was packaged in a kraft paper bag with a handle. Easy and convenient to carry around. I opened the bag and I was introduced by the waft of crispy fried chicken. I knew this was going to be a GREAT chicken sandwich. I delicately took the sandwich of the bag and snapped a photo. It definitely had some weight to it. I couldn’t resist so I took a bite into the ever so crispy chicken sandwich. Wow. This was crispy, crunchy, & everything right about a chicken sandwich. The white meat was juicy and it paired so well with the Big Mat sauce and the soft martin potato bun. I usually do not have pickles with my sandwiches however the extra crunch on them made it satisfying. I was surprised that there was no oil dripping down the side of my hands when consuming this chicken sandwich, it truly is different. Let’s move on to the Smashed Spice Fries, this was filled to the brim of the bag. There was no picture of the fries because I was just enjoying the entire meal and did not want stop to take a photo. I took a few fries and noticed the outside was crispy and the inside was soft just how I like it. Although the first few fries the seasoning was kind of underwhelming but as I kept going down the bag the flavour of sweet, zesty, and saltiness were present. A unique and tasty seasoning. Move out of the way Popeyes, we have a new King of Chicken Sandwiches.
Best chicken I ever had. I'm serious. It's crispy but not dried out. The seasoning, it's so... flavorful!
I was craving KFC, decided last minute that I'd rather spend my money at a local joint- BEST DECISION! The fried chicken is crispy and battered to perfection, and really reminds me of the kind of chicken my parents used to make. What really drove me to give this place a 5-star rating were the sides. I went home with the pasta salad, pickles, and EXTRA honey dill sauce. The pasta salad is mixed with a semi-sweet tangy pesto dressing and is like no other I've had before. It is mind blowing. The sour pickles in conjuction with the dill sauce on top of chicken is just...*chefs kiss* I over-ate and regret nothing! I will be back. Fantatsic place.
Hands down the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot. I had to stop myself from going back and ordering another one immediately after. The buns are melt-in-your-mouth and the seasoning on the chicken is delectable. I got the pasta salad and it was also delicious. I see people complaining about the $10 price tag for a sandwich and side but this isn’t your average McChicken!!
