Not sure what I liked more our awesome server Ashley, the food or the animals all over the walls. If you want an outstanding Alaskan restaurant experience with excellent service and delicious fresh food then definitely go here! I had the ribeye and it was outstanding. The potato fully loaded was perfect and even the green beans with bacon was delicious. The server was super cute and very attentive. I def be back this is probably one of my fav restaurants in Alaska so far.

If you like old rustic Alaskan Atmosphere, then you will like this place. To me, it seemed like it was stuck in the late 80's or early 90's. I had the 1# King Crab for $99.00. I question if it was fresh or frozen, because when the crab was placed in front of me, it smelled very fishy and the crab meat was not very sweet like I thought it would be. I've had better and sweeter crab in my home state. Not what I expected in Alaska. My wife had the Halibut, it came out with no seasoning on it and no flavor, just the taste of Halibut. We have had Halibut up here at a different Bistro place and in Seward, the Halibut was awesome and flavorful. The waitress was very slow getting the food to us and to take payment. We sat for a good 10 minutes waiting for her to take our payment.

Do not skip this place! I can only vouch for breakfast, but everything was perfection, surrounded by your favorite woodland animals. We tried quite a few things between the 4 of us, and although I could not bring myself to try the reindeer sausage, I heard that was good, too. Sorry I didn't take a picture of our food. We ate it too fast.

Had a fantastic prime rib dinner here. The meal was supposed to be an 18oz, but when it came out it was more in line with a porter house. Basically ended up being two meals! Great food and great value, highly recommend!

Its a good place to grab food, especially when you're staying at one of the local hotels. I recommend the seafood dishes. The ladies that were behind the bar the two times I was in were very helpful when picking my food up.
