We liked the steak stir fry a lot, I recommend! The Fried seafood platter I also recommend, the fish was light and not at all oily. Good place for family and casual dinnerRecommended dishesChaulafan, Plato Vegetariano, Plato De Mariscos, Carne Asada, Andes Chicken Wings, Caldo De Gallina Criolla, Encebollado Soup, Chicharron Picado
A friend made the suggestion to come and visit this place for some GOOD Peruvian Dishes!! This family owned restaurant is a must try, and I am so glad I did We ordered the Empanades De Carnes beef turnerover - the green sauce - simply delicious and compliments the beef perfectly! We also ordered the Maduro Con Queso fried sweet plantain with cheese, the sweetness of the plantain pairs with the saltiness of the cheese Main course: Seafood, pan fried trout with, rice and beans.. this fish was everything I could ask for in a course.. seasoned to perfection, yet not dry! Please squeeze the lime! Please get the The Pisco Vina de Oro Peru- this is like a sweet, crisp wine it just tied everything together. All in all, I will be back!! Parking: On the side of the building is a parking lot for this restaurant
Been wanting to try Los Andes for a long time y valió la pena esperar! While everything was tasty for sure, the guatita and pollo apanado were sooo delicious! Lots of flavor! Can't wait to go back and try more!
I've been wanting red snapper since returning from Mexico. I've tried a number of places with no success. I took a chance and ordered this through Uber Eats. Man oh Man!!! My food was so much better than expected!! It was still hot by the time I got it. I'm not certain it was a snapper but whatever it was, I murdered it! It was full of flavor and you get your monies worth!! I got a whole fish pan fried, salad, plantains, rice and beans....
Very tasty food if you're looking for southamerican taste. Peruvian ceviche was good for what you can get in Minnesota. The pisco sour drink should have been a tad sweeter and less dry. The mango juice was good but canned whipped cream on top of it kinda ruined for me. Ecuadorian humitas were delicious. Lomo saltado was perfect. Please stop putting whipped cream out of a can on your desserts, it's not the best and l could have brought my own from home, besides it made the desserts and drinks look tacky. Otherwise l liked the food, we're coming back and l recommend the place.
By far the best Ecuadorian food we've ever had. Tops our favorite place in Madison, Wi. Phenomenal food, fantastic atmosphere and delicious drinks. Highly recommend!! Cannot wait to come back!
When I'm travelling, I try to find local restaurants that offer something I can't get at home. Empanadas are one of these foods that I could eat every day for the rest of my life and never tire of them. Other google reviewers had great things to say about the empanadas at Los Andes so I decided to try them for myself. And mannnn....these are THE TRUTH! I got the empanadas mixto one beef, one cheese and one chicken. As you can tell from the photo, each protein choice had a significantly different appearance that help distinguish which one is on. I like the touch of chimmichuri sauce they included, as well. I have saved this location for future trips to the area. If you're on the fence... don't be!
Got delivery from Los Andes and was very satisfied. Honestly, can’t wait to order again. I bet it would be even better to enjoy at the restaurant. ¡ con gusto !
Moving to the Twin Cities, I was surprised to learn not many Peruvians live here. I'm from DC and of Peruvian/Salvadoran heritage so this restaurant caught my attention. It was the closest thing to Peruvian I could find. The owner was amicable, the ceviche was also pretty good and reminded me of my grandmother's recipe complete with yam and "chocolo". A suggestion would be to feature more Peruvian dishes ají de gallina, causa, pollo a la brasa and Pisco Sour! Since the potential is there. Thanks for bringing a little bit of Peru nonetheless to the Twin Cities.
Everything came together perfect. Great staff. Great food.
