This building and it's management have zero regards to their tenants, the building has been infested with mice since June 2022 and still infested. Elevator is always down at least once every two weeks. Floors of the hallway are always dirty and never get cleaned. I have lived in this building since 2018, its been a great place up until the beginning of 2022. I'd not recommend this place at all, you pay high rent for the worst and most disappointing service.
The building is currently being renovated. I know Boardwalk is modernizing their properties which is awesome. Nice suites as they are fairly larger than what you normally see in downtown or in newer apartments. Nice neighbourhood, close to Southgate mall, No frills, Whitemud Ave., trails, elementary schools, etc.
I have been living here for 5 years.The rent has gone up a little up over time.I have noticed that if I need repairs done they try to do it over a timely manner,as well as a very thorough job.The staff is very friendly. They have recently painted the hall walls and the front doors of the apartments. Also,fixing the back steps,as well as the back railing.They are currently doing different upgrades. Through e-mail,there are different programs,contests etc that might be of interest to people.Overall,very happy to live here.
The tower is convenient for small families mainly 4 members. The building is old a little bit but has two elevators. Also, it includes underground heated parking. A big public laundry is available I the ground floor. One of the disadvantages of this tower is accessing the underground parking by using a physical key which means that you have to get off your car to open the door that would be difficult in winter.
Lord Byron Tower II is an excellent place to live. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The resident manager Sam Baiju Koorikuzhiyil is very supportive and friendly.
Moving can be such a stressful experience and there were a few bumps along the way but thanks to Sheri, Sam and Josh for being so accommodating it was made much easier. Being a senior I feel well taken care of.
