Loopy's Grill & Saloon

Since I have move to Eau claire I have wanted to check this place out. This place is large has adequate space not to run into someone. sand volleyball courts couple bars and inside and outside dinning. I didn’t try the food but the drinks are priced fair and the atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend this place if you want to have a drink and sit by the river.

We stopped at Loopy’s while traveling past Chippewa Falls. Comfortable and fun atmosphere wish very friendly staff. Food was great. Wish we could have stayed longer and had a couple beers. We’ll definitely stop there again next time

Especially pleasant dining and visiting with friends in the summer. The tables along the scenic river make the outdoor dining a 6 star fun experience! Always love the cheese curds appetizers and the pizza is the best in the Chippewa Valley! We'll be back!! Parking: Plenty of parking!

We had so much fun! We did the kayaking. They drop you off a few miles up the river and you can buy alcohol to drink while you kayak back to the bar. You can also rent canoes and tubes. We had food when we got back. We got the california burger and taco salad.

When I walked in and up to bar, the bartender was helping someone else. When she finished with them, she said she'd be a minute and she went to take an order from a table. I took a seat at another table because we were there for pool league night. The bartender came to my table and did not ask if she could get me anything. Instead she asked if I was with the group at the bar. When I answered with a puzzled, "No," she curtly told me that the table where I was sitting was reserved for the group at the bar. Then she walked away. The group she indicated never came to that table Around 7:30, I went to the bar to order appetizers. Cheese curds and "World famous Nachos." My total was $28.38. I paid cash. While we waited, another party said that they had a really long wait for their food. I overheard the bartender tell the they had an unexpected group of 20 people come in. Okay. So I now know OUR order might take a bit. At 9:40! our apps still hadn't come. A huge Leinies group came in. I watched to see if anyone would get food. Within 15 minutes a large tray with baskets of food came out. Then out came a pizza. I was not happy about this. I went back to the bar and requested a refund. I explained to her that two hours is too long to wait. She asked me, "Your order never came out?" She asked what we ordered so she could look it up. I reminded her and she said okay. Apparently, I was watching a pool game when she brought my refund because I looked down at the table and in front me was some money. She didn't even tell me she brought it. She didn't apologize for us not getting our food at all. It felt like she had a problem with me, personally, by not waiting on me to begin with, by not asking if she could get me anything and instead making me move from a table where no one sat, not bringing my order, and not even acknowledging the return of my money. Even if one assumed the food was brought out by someone else, a server should check to see if everything is satisfactory, right? My first thoughts don't usually go here: but I am a person of color, so perhaps that was her problem. Very bad experience. P.S. Anyone who knows "Loopy," knows he would never treat a customer like this. He is one of the kindest and best guys. So disappointing!

Maybe the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. It took at least two hours to get our food and then it came out cold and terrible. The kitchen especially was inept.

Food was great and the service was even better. You have to do the river float, then stop in for lunch/dinner afterwards!

Good burgers, decent drinks. They have multiple volleyball courts so it probably gets pretty crowded when that's happening otherwise it's a good place to stop for a bite and a cocktail.

My wife and I went there while it was rather quiet. It was relaxing. The beer went down smooth and and our food was great. Our bill was respectable as well. We'll gladly return.

Incredible bar! Has outdoor/indoor seating, volleyball court, and everything you’d want from a bar! Also the food is fantastic! The bbq pulled pork was fantastic, and their curds and fries didn’t disappoint! Always a favorite hangout spot.
