Pick up only so no atmosphere. Food was good but average. Quantity of food was great. Perhaps try outside the basics offered for a better taste experience. Bottom line for me was the food is good but not worth 4 or 5 stars.Food: 3/5
We ordered take out last week and we found it to be very expensive for what you get. Everything was extremely bland/flavorless. For nearly 100 bucks for our order we were really hoping for better quality food! Servings were quite small and chicken fried rice had a funky smell. Unfortunately I would not recommend and we won't be ordering from here again
This has become our favorite Chinese food pick-up order restaurant. Good fast service and we like the food. Easy to drive up to and generally lots of accessible parking spots.Food: 5/5
Never got to actually try it. I asked for no red sauce on my chicken and it was swimming in it. My mixed veggies was mostly broccoli. I called to correct this and whomever I was speaking with had no interest in fixing the problem. Very disappointing experience indeed.
Always consistently great food and great service. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Highly recommendFood: 5/5
Service is excellent, the food not so great. It tastes very bland compared to other similar Chinese buffets. The buffet island is small with a limited number of foods I attended for dinner and most of the trays had veggies didn’t really seem worth the $15. Sitting area is large with lots of tables. I’m giving 5 star for service because someone was always there to check in to refill beverages and take away dishes. Overall score 2 stars
Unfortunately I had given this restaurant a 5 star review 2 weeks ago. I've never had an issue but apparently customer service has gone down here. We had the buffet tonight. Everything was cold. Meat. Veggies. Soup. Everything. The dessert I tried to eat was stale. When it was brought to the attention of staff, they told us to let them know next time the buffet is cold and they will give us warm stuff from the back. No thanks. You've just lost our business. There was no compensation offered. We paid full price. I was not expecting compensation however an apology would have sufficed.
Servers were friendly but that’s where the positives end. It’s like this place got stuck in the 70’s., barn board paneling on the walls and old red leather uncomfortable chairs. Arrived at 6pm. The selection was terrible and what was there was under seasoned and over cooked. The wonton soup broth taste like water and the actual wonton was flavorless and overdone. The restaurant doesn’t even have free refills on their pop.
I don't usually write reviews either, but people NEED to see this. I went here for dinner tonight, was absolutely appalled by the food and due to which, I hardly ate a thing. The chicken was dry and rubbery, the rice was dried up, and even the chicken balls were horrible and were almost entirely breading. Not to mention there was no one in the restaurant other than my boyfriend and I, but yet the tables were a mess, the chairs were pulled out and a staff member was sitting at one of the main tables, eating. After about 10 minutes we realized the food was almost inedible and my stomach was starting to turn, so we put our forks down and went to the cash to say something. After telling them it wasn't good, the owner argued with us that she watched me eat and was going to charge me at least child's pricing, and full pricing for my boyfriend who also hardly ate a thing - even if it was good, we wouldn't have been able to eat very much in 10 minutes!. The lady also went as far as to rudely tell us maybe we were having a bad night and that was the reason we didn't like the food. At the the end of it all, we walked out after wrongly being charged $30 for LITERALLY nothing. A word of advice, do NOT waste your money here!
We have been ordering take out from Loonho for 15 years and have never been disappointed, until now that is. This was our first time ordering this year. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! We ordered our usual three dishes and two egg roll. The egg roll were fine but the rest was terrible. The portions were significantly smaller. The chicken chow mien tasted like boiled bean spouts and there wouldn’t have been an oz. of chicken in it. The cantonese chow main was equally tasteless and deficient of pork, shrimp and chicken. The sweet and sour pork, although it taste ok was nothing but fat and grissel. We ended up pitching the whole thing in the garbage and ordering pizza. If it weren’t that we lived a 40 min. drive from them I would have returned the order. Needless to say we will never be going back or recommend Loonho to anyone.
