I've returned to the Lone Maple cottages several times. It's a picturesque lakefront property. Every available cottage is extremely clean and well maintained. A perfect destination for families with children young and old. Lots of room for my dogs too :) thanks for the great times!

Worst experience of my life. Asked them before we got there if we could bring our dog. No problem was the answer. Told them what we have, again no problem. Got there and all of a sudden, it was a massive problem. Total morons and totally out dated living quarters. Also their porch at the office was falling apart. Being disabled, I almost fell through

Calling an 84 year old couple morons really shows who you are. Edith and Horst have always been very accommodating hosts. We have been going to the Lone Maple for 8 years. The cabins are always spotless and rustic. This year you could see that upgrades to the cabins happened over the off season. As for the steps to the office, they are brand new. The ccouple that replaced you there had a dog as well, no issues. If there's a fault perhaps you should look in the mirror.

A zen like experience. Allows for one to truly connect with nature. Old cottages that are very well maintained and cleaned. Free paddle boards and kayaks. Just lovely.
