Blue Pigeon Resort

Overall a good experience for our small family of four. Our two kids had a great time and it was very relaxing that we were able to keep an eye on them the entire time. The cottages were clean. It was a good amount of space for our family. We stayed in the Black Bird and so we were able to see the kids playing on the dock and by the sand. This place had a nice dock size and boat launch so were able to bring our boat and dock it there. It rained half the time that we were there but it was good with the pool since the kids would still be able to swim. This place has expansion plans so can't wait to see what the newer ones.

if you like bed bugs. the worst place I have ever stayed in my travels. hygiene is obviously not a priority, toilets, tubs disgusting uncleaned and my family was covered in bed bug bites, what a nightmare, STAY AWAY!

We went as a big group and stayed in two cottages (Blue Jay and BP5) for 3 days. Fully furnished cottages with facilities. Played in the lake water, went for boating, games and fun time! The owner girl Julie and the Front Office girl Christine are helpful and friendly. We forgot to take back one of our bags and realized when we reached home! Spoke with Julie immediately and mentioned the situation, she drove back to our town on her way home and hand over the bag to us. Extra-ordinary help! A nice place to visit and have fun!

Bang for your buck ! Took my kids to Blue Pigeon Resort for their first cottaging experience last year and it couldn't have been any better. Having two younger kids I struggled to look for a clean place with amenities for the children. Not only was it clean and modern but they had play areas designated for the kids where I knew that they were safe. My husband was definitely happy being able to fish all day long on the lake and my son still speaks of "fishing" on the docks! The place is also pet friendly which is very important to us since we take our pets everywhere! Their fee for pets is nothing if that means we can have them with us vs a "pet hotel"/boarding. The people are extremely nice and helpful. This was truly a great find and we can't wait to go back this year !
