LonaCakes

Seriously cute bakery with excellent cupcakes! The buttercream is ridiculously light and amazing. This was such a great find and I'm so happy I popped in.

LonaCakes is hands down the best bakery in Ithaca! Their shop is super cute and cozy. I haven't had a single thing from there that I haven't liked. I have also at times been a slacker and ordered a cake last minute and they have gladly made them for me. Thank you for making such delicious cakes! :-) The cakes in a jar are also super cute and make great gifts for almost anyone! I love love love LonaCakes!

LonaCakes is our FAVORITE place to get celebratory treats! Our treat of choice is cupcakes! Cake is my favorite food, so it's easy to see why this is my favorite place in Ithaca! There are always so many different kinds to try that it's hard to walk out with less than a box of 6. The shop is so cute and conveniently located. I don't think I have been in there a single time without one of the owners walking out and greeting me. It's definitely a local gem! (And now I want cupcakes! I think it's time for another trip to Community Corners!)

Everything I've had from Lonacakes is phenomenal! The frosting on the cupcakes is rich but not overpoweringly sweet, the cakes are dense, and the flavored are rich. My son's Malibu birthday cake got better as leftovers - and it was delicious on the first day! The store is beautifully decorated, bright and elegant. And the Gimme coffee makes a nice accompaniment. The staff is friendly and helpful. My whole family loves this place!
