Lock 16 Café & Visitor Center is Illinois & Michigan Canal themed restaurant & visitor center for the I&M Canal National Heritage Area. The Cafe is open for breakfast & lunch and caters all of our daytime and evening events. We have plenty of vegetarian options, and homemade soups. We also have homemade desserts and specialty coffees.
The Lock 16 Visitor Center and the I&M Canal Boat are perfect venues for weddings/rehearsals, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, retirement parties, reunions, afternoon teas, after-hour parties, workshops, meetings and more.
