Locale is a restaurant inside a beautiful old Victorian mansion on the main road of King City. They have a patio as well and ample parking. The service was top notch and the food was tasty. The tuna salad had a delicious vinagrette and the cocktails of the night were tasty too. The pizza and pasta were both good, though the pizza was a bit burnt near the crust which made me leave the edges. Be prepared to spend here but all in all I enjoyed Locale!
I visited Locale yesterday for the first time to celebrate my birthday and I absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and our waitress Francesa was super friendly, attentive and provided excellent service. We got pasta and pizza and everything was so fresh and tasty. I can't wait to come back!
Food was outstanding! Service was efficient and friendly. My only complaint is how very loud the restaurant is especially upstairs. It made it difficult to carry on a conversation at our table. Gonna request downstairs next time.
Started with the burrata which was amazing with prosciutto figs and greens. Truffle fries are a must and their special was a salmon with lentils which was a great portion size and very delicious! Great ambience and highly recommend for a date night!Recommended dishesTruffle Fries

We were very excited to visit because we heard such good things. It was one of the biggest dissapointments ever. The food was ok nothing special, as I had the lamb shank and my partner had the branzino. The thing that really got to us was the terrible service, the rudeness and the lack of logical sense towards the customer. First off we wanted to replace the rice in one of the dishes because the person can't eat rice, instead of saying ok we don't replace, and giving us a side of something else they said no we will give you extra fennel. Which was one piece and not at all a replacement for the rice. Then we waited an hour in a non busy restaurant for our mains, why it took so long I'm unsure. We then ordered dessert and said it was a birthday instead of comping the dessert which they said they would they brought two of the same dessert and another we ordered so for two people we got 3 desserts which I thought was unnecessary. The meatballs for apps were ok, and the bread which they charge 5 dollars had so little butter it barely was enough for one let alone two. Overall expected much more from this restaurant. But if you want ok food, in King city then this is your place. Will not be coming back.
It was my first time trying this restaurant after hearing great things about it from a few of my colleagues. It was excellent, food quality is great & pasta is made fresh to order. Appetizers were great and fresh! Desert was amazing! Beautiful restaurant for a date night or a business meeting as well. Service 10/10!!!
Went here to celebrate an anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. The food is very yummy but I have to say the service was spectacular. I think the waiters names were Vince and Jared sorry if I’m wrong. I would recommend this spot for date night or if you’re craving Italian.
Ended up here because I couldn't manage to get reservations at any of my favorite downtown restaurants on short notice and the reviews seemed to be quite positive. Thankfully, LOCALE King City delivered on a great dining experience, so I don't have to feel bad for procrastinating on getting resos for a celebratory meal. We absolutely enjoyed our meal here. All of the food was delicious. The branzino was extra noteworthy - it was cooked to perfection. Typically, I don't comment on the service, but want to here because it was perfect. The server was friendly. She was attentive - checked in to make sure the food was ok. Never felt like I needed to get her attention, nor did I feel like she was always around. The timing of the the food was perfect. Apps came out in a reasonable time. The mains arrived about 5 - 7 minutes after the plates for the apps were taken away. Definitely recommend this restaurant. February 2022 update. Instead of dinning in, I ordered takeout. The service was great. While I waited for the food to be packed, staff walking by greeted me and asked if I've been helped. The manager and hostess offered me a coffee while I waited. I ordered a couple apps, several pastas and a pizza. All were delicious after being warmed up. I definitely still recommend.
I can't believe this is so close to home and it took me years to try it! I'm so sad I didn't come sooner. The vibe inside makes you feel like you're at a restaurant downtown Toronto with amazing cocktails, I wish I got a photo of the drinks. Guess I'll have to come back Burrata & Prosciutto Frittura Paccheri Funghi Fico Pizza Chocolate Torte Crumble Creme Favourites were the Prosciutto from the burrata appetizer and fresh paccheri fungi! The pizza was great too, amazing dough, light and chewy
