LOCAL Public Eatery Kamloops

Not a bad place to have a bite. It was almost packed when I visited, but the servers were really nice. I had the BBQ Rice Bowl and though it was said to be sizeable, it wasn't all that much. However, it was delicious. The food isn't all that pricey also. I'm glad I went and I will go again whenever I'm back in town

I had a fantastic experience at The Local! They allow dogs on the patio, so I brought mine along. The patio itself is lovely and welcoming. We highly recommend the hot wings

Unfortunately it felt like our waitress was having a bad day and we didn't experience great service during our visit. That being said, the burgers were good if you like a lot of sauce and I'm sure this would be a nice place for drinks with friends in the evening - maybe just pick somewhere else for lunch.

If I could give L.P Eatery 10 stars I definitely would! They under promised and over delivered on our large group reservation 35 last night which was Friday night. They separated the kids baseball team of 15 yr olds and the adults and everyone had an incredible experience. Initially we had agreed for the parents to be all split up as space became available but when we got there, they had a large table set up for all of us too! Both servers were efficient and attentive. Our drinks and food were served quickly and the food was SO good. Great customer service is sometimes hard to find these days so I make a point to comment/review when it’s exceptional! This place is great. It was hopping when we were there at 7:30. Everyone was busy and still provided kind and prompt service. We aren’t from here but baseball will bring us back. We will remember you! Thanks Local Public!!!

Had dinner here tonight. Service was good. We were seated quickly, greeter was friendly and knowledgeable. Waitress was attentive and not overbearing.nThe food. The good, the bad, the ugly.nOrdered drinks, impressed with the options, decided on a couple of cocktails. Drinks had twice the ice and small for the price.nFish tacos and slaw were marginal at best, hot sauce for the fish was Franks, guess they put that Sh1t on everything. Ceasar salad was all ends of the head of lettuce, expect better when out.nMy lady had the blackened chicken salad. It wasn’t something that stood out and could be recommended. Food was definitely overpriced for the quality. Ceasar salad picturednOverall a mediocre experience.nDoubt we’ll be back.
