Local Medicine Hat

The restaurant is very nice. I went on taco Tuesday and they had a few different tacos to choose from. I got fish tacos and they were excellent. Even got an order to go after a few drinks. I door dashed the burger and I was amazing as well. A must stop place for sure.

The best patio in the city by far. Delicious food. Decent service, just sometimes the waitstaff gets overloaded with tables and can be delayed. Something that isn't within their control.nnThey also have an expanding non-alcoholic drink menu, which is nice.

The location is perfect close to wherever you are coming from. Customer service great. My only concern was hair in the food I got like 5 mens hair. Other than that food tastes good. It looks nicer at night than morning and I think I saw a small stage ao assuming theg do concerts:

There must be a Master Chef in the kitchen ?nChicken satay cold noodle/cabbage salad was beyond delicious!! My husband loved his fish and chips especially the great Cole slaw and tartar sauce ! Servers were super sweet and prices were actually good. We are both hobby cooks and also travel extensively so it takes a lot to impress us !!!

Me and my family went to Local yesterday for some lunch and some catch up. We were the only people there as we were the first to show up for lunch, but they were so nice about it. The atmosphere is super chill and comfy, and the booth seating was perfect for me and my fused spine.nnI ordered the fried chicken ramen because I’m a sucker for soup and fried meat. Well, this dish DELIVERS. A rich, savory miso broth envelops a rich mix of noodles, veggie, sesame seeds and egg… but the real star of the show is the fried chicken served on the side. Each bite was a crunchy, perfectly fried piece of heaven and I almost didn’t want to put it in my soup - I wanted to eat it straight! But the crunchy chicken soaking up the rich broth was also a feast for the palette. The service was fantastic and the owner was quick to let us know that I forgot my phone in the bathroom - oops!nnVery happy with my local Local and we will be back!
