Stayed in a cabin during a recent ice fishing to Lake Itasca. The cabin we had was clean, modern but rustic, and above all, warm. That was important since the temp. dipped as low as -32. The cold weather led us to spend plenty of time in the bar. The locals are very friendly and fun. The food is above average for "bar and grill" style food. Highly recommend this place both for their cabins and/or a quick drink and chow.

I emailed them for information because of a college project and I got a response in less than 24hours, sounded responsible and went above and beyond my expectations. A very customer friendly establishment.

Our sever, cook, and bar tender was all one person and she was great!!! She even let me use her phone charger while we were there eating.
