Excellent food, 30 to 40 people waiting to get in the place before we got there. They mixed a good drink. Prices weren't bad at all. would definitely return and recommend it to others.

Honestly the worst thing I have ever consumed. I ordered 2 enchiladas and took one bite before I had a flashback to the time I took a bite of a 38¢ Walmart frozen burrito. I cut into the cheese enchilada and saw a bunch of half melted cheddar cheese that would only be the work of a microwave. When it came to our table They told us to be careful because it was a hot plate, but it was a hot like it was microwaved, not recently washed or anything. I took the left overs home so I wouldn't make my dad feel bad about paying for something that was worse than dog food. I had to throw it out the window half way home because they smelt too bad, heck I wouldn't even let my dogs eat that. If you're looking for real Mexican food, check out vallartas in park rapids, it's worth the extra couple of dollars. Oh and don't get me started about the plating of the food. It looked like someone poured dirt water onto 2 tortillas and added some lettuce that was uncomfortably warm. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce and the chips popped a wire out of my braces... but I guess it is a great place to take your mom for Mother's Day if you hate her.

Award winning food. Service is awesome. Simply put, if you love Mexican food, go here!!. Go early or you will have a wait to get in.

Good food, nice atmosphere, tiny town, lots of good times. This place is out there but this town is known for really good food.

Companeros is the white trash of Mexican resteraunts. We had a table of 7, everyone ordered something differnt, but everyone got a plate of food that looked identical. The cheese on the plates is melted in a way that only a dirty old microwave can accomplish. Although Dorset is a small town you still have plenty of other reasonable places to eat. Hell, you're better off sucking on a napkin for nutrients than wasting your money at this dumpster. If someone says this place is good I whole heartedly promise you they are lying through their teeth. Overall if you're deciding whether to go to companeros I wouldn't recommend. If you're someone who is sad that it's closed during the winter you can always just microwave yourself one of those 38 cent bean burritos from the gas station and indulge happily.
