Any store that takes the phone off the hook for 6-8 hours, on a regular basis is doing wrong. Especially a pharmacy. Try calling to check on a script, and get busy signals for 7 hours straight. Then ride over on a bike to ask them to fill the script and get told it'll be 6 hours.Store closed in 8 hours at that point so I had them delivered. The pharmacist admitted to taking it off the hook because they're too busy to answer the phone. VERY unprofessional. One more month and I'll be changing stores, because they do this daily.
Below is my previous review yet I must edit it to a higher level owing to current positive incidents:nI was suffering from intense nasal congestion as a side effect of one of my medications. The attending pharmacist, NAMITA, prescribed a nasal spray for me.nSIMRAN prepared it while I shopped, and when I returned, NAV showed me some of the intricacies of its use.nIf I could give 10 stars I would for everyone here!nOn another occasion, both SHEENA and ROCHELLE came through for my wife to procure a very-hard-to-get prescription renewal! Sheena faxed the renewal request 4 times and Rochelle followed up as well! All is good now! Thank you! Thank you!nWe love this team!nAKASH is also a wonderful pharmacist! As seniors, we're there a lot.nHe, like the entire staff, always drops what he is doing to serve me and answer my questions. He is very knowledgeable and courteous!! Included as well, RAM takes his turn as pharmacist and recently helped me by explaining options for back pain relief.nIt was very much appreciated!!nEveryone on reception does a thorough job to make sure all our prescriptions are always kept up to date.nThis entire group works like a close family and is worthy of thisn5 - Star rating!! We are so glad we changed over from our previous drug mart to be recipient of this special care!!nSincerely, Christopher
It's a very busy Pharmacy, but I am glad that the pharmacy staff still take time to review the medications that are prescribed to us before dispensing them.nnDoctors are busier than ever and even they can miss when a medication is being requested to be refilled too often. Or when an interaction can occur between medication for the patient.nnGive them time to complete their medicinal training so we all can live happy and healthy.nnTapas Barot is a super easy going guy. But he's a dedicated Pharmacist that will tell you what it is. That's a good thing.
Honestly worst pharmacy in town. Prescriptions are never ready on time. I spent a week going there everyday because I kept being told that my script wasn’t ready and to come back “tomorrow”. Well after returning a total of 5 times I got upset and asked what the issue was and why I kept being told to come back tomorrow for an entire week! I was told that actually they didn’t have any of my pills in stock and that they would be in tomorrow. So the following day I return once again and surprise surprise my prescription still isn’t ready. I was fuming and demanded that they fill it immediately as I haven’t had my medication in over a week and these aren’t the type of pills that should be stopped abruptly. Finally I get my medication. My second incident I went to get my medication and I realize they had given me my fathers!! When I told them that they had given me the wrong pills they I informed me that my father had been in earlier and they must have given him MY pills. I called him and yes they had given him my medication. Not mention that we are on vastly different pills and if I were have not noticed I’m sure things could have gone pretty bad. Finally I’ve also seen one of the workers asking an elderly lady whether or not the pills they were giving her were the correct ones. Isn’t that what a pharmacist is for? Extremely dangerous, place should be shut down.
I've been a customer there for about 10 years. Never had a complaint. Little hiccups sure, but nothing major. Since new owner, prescriptions not ready on time, not enough to fill...yet they charge you for whole thing and owe you. I loved the convenience of pharmacy and food store at same place, but frustrations not just once, gave time to adjust, I will now be switching.
