Ive taken 2 dogs there that have needed surgery and they have both received excellent care. Dr Berg is caring and compasionate and does amazing work. My labs surgery was aprox 3 years ago and she had a plate put in her leg. Youd never know she was ever injured. Recently my minpin jumped and broke her leg just above her ankle. I took her in after hours and short notice and Starke I think thats his name sorry kept her comfortable until surgery. Shes just a pup so her bones are extremely tiny. Dr Berg somehow very delicately put a plate and 8 screws in her leg and she is now healing. He sent her home with pre measured pain doses which made giving her the meds so much easier. He has followed up via email and on monday took the stitches out. I highly reccomend this vet as well as the staff being promt and without long wait times when going into the clinic. Thank you to Dr Berg, Dr Starke and staff for your care and compassion.
My grandma and I had switched over to the animal hospital a few years back and they have always been awesome to deal with. They helped me get my diabetic kitty into remission as well as saving his life 3 times when he had blockages. NOW hes on food they recommended that is helping him so much. My grandma and I had 2 older family dogs that we had to unfortunately do euthanization on and the compassion and care received both times made the process as smooth as it could be. Thank you for helping our fur babies
Dr Berg is always so friendly and professional! Although Hazel doesn’t like coming into the clinic initially, she does always leave very unphased after her visit and resumes back to normal as soon as we’re home! Thank you Dr. Berg!!
* I don't normally leave reviews/Feed back*nnIt's coming up! 20 years with Lloydminster animal hospital, I have nothing but rave reviews.nWe've had two terrific Doctors, Joanne Heavier & now Corey Berg, also a few others along the way sorry forgotten names over the yearsnBoth treated our first fur-Son Casper white westie he loved visiting Joanne.nJoanne & all the staff were fantastic when the little guy passed.nnNow we definitely went chalk to cheese.nIn everyway possible, Pure breed to Heinze 57, Black to white, Giant to small, Independent to scared of own shadow.nYou name it, so for us, Animal Hospital in Lloyd have been nothing short of impeccable.nEither at the North side for all the surgery's our fur-sons have had or the South side for meds or jabs, results, follow-up etc..nHonestly can't go wrong at either one from the counter greeting & paying, or doctors treating.nI mention both son's as similarities stop at, They're Dogs with 4 legs & fur.nnFinallynThe only consistency in 20 years with Lloydminster Animal Hospital.nI have four words to sum them up!nCompassionate, knowledgeable, Available & Reasonable.nnThank you from the heart.nDenver & Margaret
The staff are all great to deal with, from the front staff to the small animal and equine vets. We have used the Lloydminster Animal Hospital from scheduled appointments to emergency call out services and found everyone to be a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable and very capable. I live 2 hours away from Lloyd but I still prefer to drive to see them and have the peace of mind our animals are getting the very best of care available.
