Truly awful service at this clinic. My mom spoke with a receptionist two days ago to ask for an in-person appointment and she was told that she needed to have a phone appointment first and they could book her for an in-person appointment the week after, so she agreed and booked the phone appointment for today. We waited almost 40 minutes for the phone call but didn't receive a call so we called the clinic and someone picked up only after the 4th try. When we finally spoke with someone a different receptionist we were told that the appointment wasn't on the system and that they would need to book another appointment only for a phone call and the next in-person appointment is not until October. She was originally told that the phone appointment could be today and the in-person appointment the week after. The receptionist did not even acknowledge their mistake, no apology or empathy, nor was there any effort to make things right for their patient. She just kept repeating that the appointment wasn't on the system. Clearly they don't care. Hopefully they can train/hire a better receptionist who knows how to deal with patients better, and not one who just keeps repeating what's on the computer/system like a robot. No empathy for their patients.. horrible.
Dr Lising is a lovely doctor. She has great values and doesnt medicate unnecessarily. She suggests a more natural, food and lifestyle based treatment. Since the pandemic it has been ridiculously hard to get in touch with her. The phone system is faulty, I have called multiple times to be left on hold or unanswered. I have used the online booking system and cant find a phone appointment in the same week. I was told I can call to book in person appointments but havent been able to. Such a shame. Pre pandemic this was my go to clinic. Now I feel I may have to find another family clinic.
Highly recommend as a GP but hard to get in, as she's not always taking new patients. She also has a strong network of specialists and is happy to refer patients.
Dr Lee is an amazing doctor, her excellent beside manner and care for her patients makes us to grateful that she is our doctor. She is also my parents doctor and her fluency with Mandarin and English has put me and my siblings and my parents at ease. We leave every visit feeling very blessed. How lucky are we? Thank you very much Dr Lee!
My doc left on mat leave without notifying me while trialling medications. I discovered this when a locum doc phoned for my appointment. Strangely, the receptionist did not take the last reasonable opportunity to tell me this when I phoned to set up the appointment. I was simply told my doc would phone me as usual. You may be told that they receive a phone call every couple minutes, and for this reason, your call cannot be answered. This, I’m afraid is a lie. There is no indication that the line is busy; it just rings and rings. You are not given the opportunity to leave a message. I phoned 9 times over the course of 30 minutes. The receptionists work from home and answer phones at their emphasis convenience. If you get a call back it’s from an unknown number. I could forgive most of this if it wasn’t for the lying to cover incompetence. My doc has been good. I hope she charged office staff to inform her patients of her pregnancy and leave and that the staff dropped the ball.
Usually a pleasant visit when coming here but for this time when it was for my son’s 18 month old vaccine appointment, the receptionist and Dr. Melissa Ng told my husband they didn’t have the vaccine. This appointment was booked months in advance and a phone call would’ve been much appreciated so they didn’t have to go all the way to the office and find out there. My husband had to take time off work for this. I hope this does not happen again to us and to other patients of yours. Super disappointing.
I love Dr Lee but recently I kept calling and no one picked up the calls and online system now requires us to get a code from the office. I feel that it is very hard to ever see or talk to the doctor again very sad
BEST family doctor I've ever had. I rarely leave reviews but I really want to give Dr. Lee public recognition for her amazing work. Unlike other doctors, she actually takes the time to understand your concerns. She's so genuine and caring. At her clinic, you won't feel like you're being put through a machine to get in and out in 5 mins. Dr. Lee said she'd have her office follow up with me after finding out more info about coverage. In the end she personally called be back on a Friday to update me. That is unheard of these days. Thanks, Dr. Lee, for the dedication to your practice and patients!
We are long term patients. It is very far and difficult to go there for appointments but Dr. Cindy Lee is good.
I made a big mistake making this my family clinic. They do not answer their phones. This makes it impossible to schedule an appointment. Their "online booking system" is a joke, does not let me book an extended appointment. They only accept extended appointments via phone and they do not answer their phone. After noon they even play a pre-recorded voice mail that says their phone operating hours are over. This place is a total let down. How can I access appropriate medical care if I cannot even schedule an appointment to see my family doctor?? Horrible service.
