Lindsay did my hair for a wedding that I was in. It was the best hairstyle I have ever had. She knew which style would look best with my features and the theme of the wedding. It was snowing and all of our hairstyles stayed in place perfectly throughout the night. Aside from being a great stylist, she was also extremely friendly, hilarious, and a joy to have a part of the day. Highly recommend her and her salon for your next event!

After researching many Boston wedding hairstylists, I decided to contact Lindsay and her team about doing hair for my wedding this past September (2013). I was planning the wedding long distance from Vancouver, but the overwhelming positive reviews for Lindsay coupled with her genuinely excited and kind emails, made me sure she was the stylist I wanted to work with. I only met Lindsay for my trial a couple of days before the wedding, but I instantly felt at home in her studio and with her. Lindsay is warm and engaging (not to mention super cool and rocking a fantastic haircut) and made me feel so comfortable. At the trial Lindsay was able to look at the pictures I brought and perfectly construct styles that were similar and worked with my hair, personal style, and the headpiece I used. The only real struggle in the process was deciding what style to choose! On the wedding day, Lindsay and her assistant joined us at the hotel bright and early and brought real energy to the room. I think they did a total of 7 hairstyles that morning - from my 14 year old cousin to the mother of the bride - and each person was overwhelmingly happy with their hair. Throughout the entire process, Lindsay felt like a real friend and I knew she was personally invested in my happiness that day. I cannot say enough positive things about Lindsay and her studio, I only wish I lived in Boston full-time for a good cut and color!

I recently went to Lindsay Griffin for a cut and balyage highlight. I've lived here for 7 years and haven't found a Boston hairstylist that I've loved enough to stick with. I will absolutely be sticking with Lindsay Griffin Boston Hairstylist + Co! In addition to the salon being immaculate and everyone being very welcoming and sweet, I finally got a great haircut and an even better highlight. I gave pretty much zero direction and loved the result. My blowout lasted 2 days, which was an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Horrible, horrible experience. Overcharged me and ruined my hair. I was blond, and came in asking for highlights/foils, and instead they decided to do 'color correction'. Except, after 4+ hours in the salon my hair now looks gray, with silvery gray streaks in the front and warm chestnut in the back. It looks horrible. I cried when I saw it, and I have no idea how it could be fixed now without totally frying my hair or going much darker to cover up the gray/light gray/chestnut combo. Totally sucks. They offered to 'fix' it, which happened the following day. The stylist just decided to put in additional foils without telling me how much time it would take, or how much she'd charge me for it. I told her I only had 1.5 hours for the appointment as I had an interview that same day, and that I can come at another time - but no, she assured me she'd be finished. She wasn't. I ended up running out of the place with dripping wet hair in freezing snow, 20 minutes late to my interview. Because I was in rush, I just gave her my card - she didn't give me a receipt. My hair still looks awful (less awful than the first time, but still completely not what I wanted), I got sick from running around with wet hair in the snow, and I paid $180 for god knows what. Don't use this place, worst experience ever.

I was first introduced to Lindsay as a Wedding Stylist in Boston for my best friend's wedding. She came to my apartment for a hair trial and we spent some time together getting to know each other and picking out the perfect hairstyle. She was a total pro and it only took one styling for Becky (the bride) to feel comfortable and love her wedding hair. Lindsay also did my hair for the wedding. I was nervous about my maid of honor speech and really wanted to look great for Becky's big day. I did not have much inspiration, but I wanted my hair to be simple and elegant. Lindsay nailed it, I felt so confident and my hair looked great. So great that I decided to see her as my personal hair stylist! The studio just opened and I went in this past weekend for a haircut. She did a wonderful job. She is so warm and inviting, she listens to what you want to do with your hair and then does it. (And the studio itself is GORGEOUS!) I left the salon with a big smile on my face and a great new hair cut!! I recommended Lindsay for another wedding in August for another close friend of mine and I can't wait to see her work again. I highly recommend her!! Congratulations on your new studio, Lindsay!!
