Limerick Forest Pit

Amazing ATV trails!! Thanks Johnstown ATV Club for maintaining the trails and providing the guidance signs and lots of variety on the trails. We almost tipped over in a bit of a pond but always ride with a buddy to help out when needed. Lots of rocky hills, rolling bumps and open spaces for taking a break on the sand dunes. Lots of parking available and an outhouse nearby - recommend BYOTP and lots of bug spray.

Great place in both the summer and winter. But a word of advice for sledding in the winter. The pit has many large boulders imbedded into the ground. Make sure that enough snow has fallen to make the sledding safe and always inspect the hill before you or your kids slide down.

Love this place for their ATV trails, it’s groomed but they have some descent trails. There is lots of trails, it’s must try if you live in the Ottawa region. Every time I went there I saw families on atvs or bikes. There is also walking trails. There is trails for days!!

Great nature spot for dirt biking and ATV. Make sure you obtain your trail pass to go as it's mandatory.

For a place that designates itself as multiuse trails and mentions biking and hiking, the trails are really only single use for motorsports. Definitely look elsewhere as there are several better hiking/biking spots within a 30 min drive than this area. If you're headed here for motorsports then ignore this review.

The forest is a great place to ride your ATV or SXS. Need to be an OFATV member. Or buy a day pass from JOHNSTOWN ATV CLUB. Beautiful forest! Well kept trails.

Fantastic trails for off road riding or outdoors enthusiasts. Really. They are just amazing; make the effort to visit and see for yourself.

Excellent place for families to get out and explore on motorised vehicles. The trails are superiorly maintained and when your out there, it feels like you're a million miles away from your problems and the rat-race.

Great place to take a walk, dirt bike, horseback, taking photo's or jogging. beware of ticks and mosquitoes, deerfly, horse flys as well as many other winged hypodermic bugs, some poisonous plants are also in the woods, aside from the pesky insects there are many amazing trails wildlife, people are always polite and kind here and quick to help if needed.
