Lily's Place

When my five person group entered the bar with 2 patrons in it, we weren't greeted and had to seat ourselves. When the woman working the bar, perhaps the eponymous Lily, finally made her way over to us we offered our IDs before being asked, as some of my friends look quite young. She had to take the ID back to the bar to look at it, before returning and saying she couldn't serve him because he wasn't 21. We assured her that the drinking age in Ontario is 19, but she thought we were trying to pull a fast one. She went to confer with someone at the bar. After 15 minutes and her making several phone calls, we decided to leave unserved. We double checked online, and Doug Ford hasn't pulled a fast one. I don't understand how someone licensed to serve liquor doesn't know the drinking age. I don't get an owner who would turn away the majority of paying customers in their establishment due to ignorance. 0/10 would not go again.

This place is something special went here couple years back - had one of the most special nights of my life and for my girl. We were staying at hotel nearby and came here as was only place open for food - it was worth it- drinks wings and choose your own karaoke dance floor - this place gives off small town pub vibe - it is gem hope it still has the magic that we experienced.

The best place to start your new lovely experiences in Toronto is one of the coziest bars near Long branch station. Best western food and beers are served and karaoke is also amusement. I had a great time with guests and the host. Just have fun

I won't think twice about driving in from Hamilton to go to Lily's. Well worth the commute. An amazing venue for music, friendly crowds, hangouts and karaoke. An all around stellar spot. This is all without mentioning that the owner is incredibly sweet and she treats her customers like family. She also remebered exactly how I liked my green tea... With honey. It all depends on when you land there. I' ve seen some quiet nights and those packed with happy karaoke people as well. Food is slow but good. Chicken wings, french fries best in town, Chevachi, Burgers...just to name a few.

Best Fresh cut French fries I ever tried. Also , I like the Belgian waffles and crepes @Lily's. Staff is friendly. Karaoke were great.

Great little place, friendly staff, the food was good and the karaoke was connected to YouTube which made it even better for song selection! Had a blast

Bartender said legal drinking age is 21 in Ontario... didnt serve us and just gave us dirty looks. All of us were 19 years of or older. Terrible service.

Lily makes the best fish and chips and I like to dance and sing karaoke and have a fun time at her place the food is excellent nice friendly staff I give it about a five-star
