Great environment at this studio!! My mom and I have been going to the Friday night gentle yoga class for quite a while. We look forward to going every week. It's a great way to wind down after the work week and kick off the weekend. :)

This review is long overdue. I have been coming to Lilananda for almost a year and absolutely love this studio! Lilananda is a small, tranquil studio; it is very different from what you would find in a yoga class at a gym. 

The space is peaceful and clean. I always feel welcome when I arrive and relaxed when I leave. The experienced instructors take the time to get to know you and push you to your appropriate edge. They are good at designing thoughtful, balanced and varied hatha classes that include twists and stretches as well as strengthening poses. They begin each class begin with a brief, meaningful focus to be practiced both on and off the mat. There is no need to feel self-conscious here! The friendly patrons vary in ability levels and the instructors strive to meet the needs of all their students. The attentive instructors provide hands-on assistance to ensure proper alignment and to prevent injury. Blocks, straps, and bolsters are also available for modifying poses. Morning and evening classes are available with top-notch instructors. I have tried them all and highly recommend all my friends to Lilananda. Vanessa will mindfully bring you through stress relieving movements. The Pilates mat classes with Chrissy will truly work your core. If you are looking for a relaxing and restorative class, you must attend Jennifer’s Friday evening Gentle Yoga class! This is a fantastic studio to explore your practice!

Mike and I (Patty) actually haven't taken a yoga class but we have taken Pilates Mat classes, and we truly enjoyed them. Chrissy is a very good teacher. Nice to have a yoga/pilates classes offered here in Glenville/Burnt Hills.
