Wow! Read it was the best coffee in Seattle and it totally blew away expectations! Came in from Virginia and was running late, due to traffic, called and they stayed open a few extra minutes for me. The espresso is dreamy, the cappuccino is amazing and my wife's mocha was not only super tasty, but had a leaf design on it. Our barista was Chris more of a coffee artist extraordinaire. Super nice guy and we appreciate him staying a few minutes for us. Show him some love when you visit! Totally agree to best cup in Seattle! Your new fans! ; :
I was there yesterday fir the first time and it was amazing. Great service and delicious coffee. The place also smells so good with all of the fresh coffee they are roasting there. I wish this place was close to me but I will definitely go back.
I think it's important to note that this place focuses on being a coffee roaster first, and the "cute coffee shop" fluff second. Which is important because obviously they take their coffee seriously and it's their primary focus. - Cool semi industrial style setting in the heart of a residential neighborhood. - Awesome to watch coffee being roasted old school visual/analog temp gauge inspection roasting right infrony of you. None of the fly by night, computer controlled roasters you see most places now that are all automatic. - Friendly staff that know their coffee - Drinks were great! Mocha was heavy on the espresso and chocolate notes without your normal "sugar syrup overload" Drip coffee of the day had a great flavor profile. You can tell the in house roasted fresh difference.
Wow this place was a great discovery. looks amazing the coffee flavor is one of my best. I’ll go again every time I am in the area.
Place and food: I love the place especially for coffee lovers. It was amazing and the place was really comfortable. The scones are also really good.Overall worth it to go. Service: Their service was execelent. They were really kind and tried to make pur experience the best. Price: Price is good.Really worth it. Overall 10/10.Would visit next time for coffee lovers.
I'm not proud of my coffee addiction, but I'm proud of my dealer. Lighthouse has the dankest dark roasts and consistent espresso pulls, the cutest dogs, reliably interesting music, high-quality sugar snacks when just one drug isn't enough, chill patio seating that's great for ukulele improvisations in fair weather, and all my/your coolest neighbors. This place is a pillar of the Upper Fremont community.
The concept of the neighborhood coffee shop is new to me, and Lighthouse has already set the bar pretty high with good service and great coffee; not to mention tasty treats. And all at an affordable price. If you're looking for the quintessential Seattle coffee experience you need to add Lighthouse Roasters to your list.
I did a Seattle coffee crawl in 2020 and this roasters was the absolute winner in quality. Best cortado I've had in the Seattle area. Their oat milk was a miss but if you're drinking from a cow, you are in for an espresso treat.
Lighthouse is a popular neighborhood coffee shop and roastery. It seems that there is always a line but it moves really fast thanks to the fast service and turnaround. There are a lot of regulars here, neighbors and coffee shop staff are very nice to each other and the vibe is fantastic, affable and genuine. The coffee shop truly feels like a place for the community. Unfortunately my latte was a little burnt and not up to standard, maybe I'll come back and give it another try.
We arrived in Seattle in the wee hours. Wandered around a little before we could check into our hotel. We found this place for a good cup of coffee. Holy cow is it amazing! My poor cup must have had a hole in it, it only lasted about 20 minutes. Lol. We're going to make this stop often on our visit. I got the breve and my husband got an Americano.
