Irwin's Bakery and Cafe

Such a cute cafe near Gasworks Park! I took a mocha and a banana walnut cake and walked to Gasworks from here on a pleasant evening. Definitely coming back!

This is a great example of neighborhood coffee shop done right. Honestly, I wish there was a coffee shop like Irwin's on every other block. The food was well priced and satisfying. If you're in the neighborhood, highly recommend stopping by for a nosh.

A neighborhood coffee shop in every aspect! I love the rotating art displays, the cozy vibe, and the helpful staff. They have plenty of yummy baked goods and are a great stop for a warm cup of coffee. I’ve been back a few times, and am slowly working my way through all their treats & pastries!

Cool location in the neighborhood. Looks charming from the outside. But staff seems hurried, bored, or indifferent? Got the vibe from customers that they really want this to be the friendly neighborhood coffee shop which it isn't. Just a vibe. Food and drinks are fine. Space is a little tight.

Irwins bakery has a very nice classic look to it. The place is very unique. The food. The salad its BETER than Starbucks

Had a scone and coffee then sat outside in the Adirondack chairs. Best scone I've had.

Best coffee in ballard. And their vegan sausage option on breakfast sandwiches us the go to.
