A very affordable way to see and learn about the Trent waterway and Peterborough area. Travelling through the locks was amazing especially the hydraulic lift lock!

Good Cruise, great learning experience Our daughter organized for my birthday, this Liftlock Cruise in Peterborough. The Fall weather was beautiful. The cruise took about 2 hours along Little Lake, Trent-Severn Waterway where we experienced the workings of Lock No. 20 and the 65-foot high 113 year-old Liftlock 21 for the first time. The 2-hour cruise time was mainly spent on waiting for the Liftlocks to be opened/closed. The Captain-cum-tourist guide Jody was excellent explaining the history of the Waterway and the Liftlocks. There's a paid-parking lot nearby and the only payment option is in coins. One dollar for one hour or $7 for the whole day.

GREAT SERVICE & OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. I brought my wife and young daughter to Peterborough's Trent-Severn Waterway to see the Lift Lock for the first time. It was worth the drive and wait. The overall experience was phenomenal. Great job to Courtney and The Captain for the wonderful time spent and learning experience!

If you have never experienced the locks along the Trent canal this is a wonderful cruise! Lovely seeing the fall colours along the banks too.
