Say goodbye to bad haircuts because Tania at Lift Hair Lounge should be your new go-to girl!  I recently moved into the Hastings Sunrise area and could not be happier that I gave Lift Hair Lounge a try. The salon is beautiful and clean, while it’s staff kind, honest and professional. I have thick, course, and frizzy hair and given these points, I was recommended by the receptionist to Tania - and wow! I’ve since had my hair washed, cut & styled a few times and will continue to go to her. She is detail oriented, and took her time to texture my hair to look it’s best. I have been attending Lift for about 3yrs now, having been lucky to find them.  All of the girls here are wonderful, and work very hard to make their clients happy.  The environment at this salon is a happy one as well.  I have probably had my hair cut, coloured and styled from a Sr stylist to a Jr who takes instructions from the Sr, and all of my experiences have been positive. Got my hair cut by Katie today and she did an amazing job!! I have very thick, long, wavy hair and have tried so many salons and no one ever seems to get it right. Katie nailed it though and in record time. I will definitely be coming back! Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling

Both senior and junior hairstylists are great doing their work. I haven't been there twice for haircut. Such friendly service and so professional. The price range is bit high but that's okay given the quality of service.

They sure LIFTED my hair from black to a beautiful silvery grey! Katie was absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job with my hair. I couldn’t be any happier with the results! I would also say their prices are very reasonable. Thank you so much Katie!

I used to come here to see Katie and she was fine before however my visit with them on July 2nd was the most terrible experience. I showed her a pic or two of the highlights and color I wanted to get done. She took a quick glance then told me she wanted to use my natural root color as the base to make the blonde pop more. I told her then I would rather just have her do the usual by having brown roots and but add more highlites I wanted to go lighter and blonder. She dismissed me and walked away.  I’ve seen her twice in the past and she was able to lighten my hair during those times so I didn’t think it was a big deal. During this session she was really aggressive in the way she was turning the the chair and constantly making it go up, down and around. I suffer from allergies so my nose was running/sniffling. She never once offered me a tissue as she wanted my head down the entire 4 hour duration of the appt.  What I got from our session was this reddish brown color and dark highlites some of the highlites are orange in the sun. I was very upset. Wasted 355 on something I didn’t ask for. When I texted them they texted back saying she had to tone everything down to match the bottom of the hair. Maybe she could’ve communicated that to her client instead of being dismissive and in such a hurry. What I wanted in the pics and what I got from them are two different shades and color. How did she mess it up so bad??  On top of that they got their manager to call me and she kept coming up with her own narrative about how my hair was probably too hard to lift since I had previous colors. And how Katie didn’t know what she did wrong. clearly she doesn’t listen to client wants and needs. Yes previous highlights and color done by Katie. Which makes no sense. If she couldn’t of lifted the color she should’ve just told me instead of messing up my hair.  They offered to just tone my hair and I said no. Honestly I don’t trust her and then people at this salon end putting blame on the client as if it’s my fault my hair can’t lift? Are you kidding me? Maybe it’s the hair stylists at lift hair lounge that aren’t very talented and can’t do the job. I don’t recommend anyone go here unless you want to lose $$$ and go somewhere else to get it corrected.Service:&nbsp;Hair coloring

Fantastic cut and style from Mariko today!  Perfect mix of youthful and professional — I am happier with it than at various hoity-toity downtown Vancouver salons I’ve tried recently, and at a way better price. I got my haircut somewhere else and it was choppy and so awful. I’ve been to lift a long time ago so I called and they happened to have a spot available with Mariko the same day. She fixed my hair and took the time and patience to make it look good again!! On top of that, she’s very kind and sweet.. I’m sooo glad I found her. Thank you!Service:&nbsp;Hairstyling
