LifeWay Christian Store

I love this store. It has such a great selection of music, top notch books and gifts. The clerks are always friendly and helpful but I do wish they could get special orders in faster, it took almost three weeks for my book to come in. I was intentional to order through LifeWay because I don't want see this store close. Lots of other local Christian stores have closed so I'm doing what I can to help. I could order "online" and get my stuff faster but I don't want them to close. The store seems a little thinly staffed tho; restroom isn't as clean as it used to be. :-(

LifeWay is a national chain, but good LifeWays feel like you’re coming into a local shop where you’re known and cared for. This is just that type of store. The staff is so very friendly and the books they sell are great biblical resources. Also, their prices really are fair. They do price match a lot of places, but you’re usually only saving a few bucks.

I walked in to purchase something and ask for directions while I was in there because I was from out of town. I was greeted by an employee and I looked around the store for a few minutes. It was empty with 3 employees just standing around. Then I asked another employee if I could possibly get directions. They asked a male employee for help and he said right away "yes I could look that up for you." So I thanked him and waited close by. I waited and watched him for about 15 minutes as he just continued to chat with his female employees. He never went anywhere else or showed any attempt to get the info. All three employees just stood there and could easily see me. Then I finally walked out.

I really love this store for anything christian. The only thing I would change is the application if you want to work there. It asks questions I think are between you and GOD. JESUS came to save sinners and thats how we are saved by his GRACE.
