Come here occasionally as a guest on my friend’s membership and the amenities are great. There is a wide variety of equipment on the main level in addition to hot yoga, spin and pilates classes. There’s also squash courts and a rock climbing wall that is pretty nice. The change rooms are pretty spacious with lots of complimentary items like mouthwash, razors and shampoo/conditioner along with a well run towel service. The pool is okay but the water in there feels slower draggier? than other pools I frequent. There are spas located both within the change room and on the pool deck. However, the sauna is only located on the pool deck and I wish they were also located in the gendered change rooms. To be honest, I don’t know if I’d buy the complete membership for myself but if you value comfort, maybe this is the gym for you.
I’ve only been a member for a month and my experience with this location is horrific. Last weekend I brought my mother and daughter to use the pool. I ended up using a guest pass for my mother. As you may all know prices for a membership aren’t cheap whatsoever. Upon walking into the family change room there was no towels. I went sat my family down before I went to the front desk to let them know. Fast forward to when we were leaving. I chose to use the women’s change room as there were A LOT of families. Again, upon entering the change room there wasn’t any towels. Here is my daughter, mother and I soaking wet with no towels. As I walked through the change room to head to the front desk the change room it’s self was in such disgusting shape. Dirty towels everywhere, overflowing garbages, garbage in the toilet stalls and all over the counters. When I explained this to the front desk, their reasoning behind the filth is because they were so busy today. I’ll be honest busy or not, there is absolutely no excuse for such a filthy change room. Especially through times like these with COVID playing a big role in our lives today. I’m extremely upset because I honestly pay more than I need to be for quality and cleanliness of the facility. Everything was lacking this day. Goodlife, planet fitness and fit for less I’ve saw in better shape. I’m beyond disappointed with life times cleanliness and I feel as if others should know before signing up. It is clear that COVID and cleanliness rules do not exist in LIFE TIME because they are too “busy”. Neglecting their clients and facility. I would definitely not recommend this location to anyone and their family. Think twice before joining, maybe try somewhere less expensive with better quality. Not impressed. I should have read reviews before joining because I see there’s a consistency with dirtiness.
Amazing facilities but horrible gym etiquette. Weights are everywhere, random towels on the ground, people using multiple machines and equipment. I feel like cheaper gyms have better etiquette. Definitely gotta get their stuff togather. All these pics are 3 feet apart from each other lol
Considering the Mississauga location is a Diamond club. The gym is big but no charm. The men's washrooms are pathetic. An eye sore. The caretaker cannot be blamed, it's the irresponsible patrons of this location that just don't seem to care at all. See the pictures. This management seriously needs to take action on bad customers.
I have been a member at this location for almost three months and I can only be happy with my experience here. Facilities are great, the gym is spacious with many machines and equipment, courts are nice and always available, and the pool area is very well put together. The price of a membership might seem costly but with all the amenities provided and being an all around active person looking to sustain and improve my physical and mental health, the monthly fee is worth it. The only 'con' I would say is that many other members that come are careless with the equipments and amenities. Towels everywhere in the change-rooms, and gym equipment not returned not frequent but still occurs. But this is not to fault any of the employees here, the workers do their best to clean after people. They greet me as I come in and leave each day. If something is lost they try their best to help and overall are very respectful and kind with any requests. I appreciate and thank all the staff at lifetime and am very pleased with my membership so far! I have recommended this gym to many family and friends who have also joined, and enjoy this place as much as I do.
1. the facility is filthy and overcrowded. 2. the customer service is extremely poor. For $150 single membership or $120 partner membership, they have an extremely poor show of service. They hire kids that really show they don't care about the job. There are 3/4 people hanging out at the front desk while the rest of the gym is in disarray. 3. within the training community, they are known to have low level personal trainers with a very high fee. We were charged $120 for a trainer without being given an option. The trainers poach you also. 4. the soccer field is extremely poor. The net is ripped. The balls provided are flat. 5. the actual workout facility is small considering the amount of people that use it. 6. the hot tub area is over run with outrageously obnoxious people with no policing from the attendants who are kids who clearly couldn't care less. I was sitting with friends and a client came in with nothing but an open towel on. Teenagers show up with speakers and blast music when people are trying to relax. I'm not old at all but I can respect people who have had a hard work day. 7. when I requested a membership cancellation they didn't ask why, they didn't try to fix the issues or promise to fix the issues. They just dropped me without a care in the world. 8. the pool outdoor is the best part but its expensive. They charge extra if you want to use it during the summer which is really not worth the price. Overall you get a less than $80 experience with a $120-$150 price tag. Do not go.
Recently joined lifetime fitness it’s been almost a month and so far experience has been great. I dealt with a great customer service individual by the name of Davin. He was very helpful and assisted me throughout the sign up process and any other issues I had or questions. I would highly recommend to ask for him if you want to sign up with the club. The classes are great as well.
I’ve been coming to this gym for the past few summers and each year, the maintenance gets worse. It has now come to the point where we are waiting 20 minutes for clean towels and none of the weights are properly racked. We’ve complained several times to the front desk and they proceeded to blame it on the members saying “we use too many towels”. This wasn’t an issue a couple years ago when there were less members, which goes to show they haven’t invested in the facilities to address the increased demand. It’s clear you’re no longer getting the value of a $150/month membership.
Basically what all the other reviews are saying. In the morning: Life Time is great, a lot of facilities, you can have a lot of fun and stay really active. Afternoon onwards: Life Time begins degrading. Still enjoyable but you’re nearing max comfortable capacity. Evenings: Trash. This place is no better than any other gym. Heck I’d dare say it’s worse. For ~180$ a month, you get: 1- an incredibly overcrowded gym 2- messy and dirty and disorganized 3- trash gym etiquette weights everywhere, people hogging machines and facilities, towels and trash all over the place The problem is both the people coming to the gym who seem to have trash etiquette and are grown up children who still can’t take care of themselves or clean up after themselves or share And the management. They cant keep up and are too slow to clean up after and restock towels, let alone that this facility isn’t designed to comfortably handle this capacity. It’s not as big as it looks. If you want a cleaner more relaxing gym with better etiquette go to Movati. Honestly Life Time is only worth the money if you want to utilize all their facilities squash, gym, pool, sauna otherwise as a gym it’s on par with Good Life. Life Time is not living up to the image they’re trying to sell you on: the health country club. It’s just a crammed building of activities and they’re trying to squeeze out as much memberships as they can. Only worth it if you come in the mornings and do multiple activities.
I recently joined the club and at the moment enjoy family swimming time! Staff is hard working, employees are nice and welcoming, place is always clean. This is the great place for the entire family activities and fun. I also like that you have an option for a guest pass. Looking forward to explore more at the nearest future. Thank you!
