Went to the library with my 4-year-old son on a strike day when the schools were closed. Was witness to very few books in various stages of decay on the shelves. My son seemed very excited. He was smiling ear to ear until the security guard told him to knock it off. The security guard told me he was just enforcing the rules. When I asked him to produce the “rules” in question he was unable, nor was capable of finding anyone at the library to produce said rules. I visited the website and no rules where published. I called the city and they where unaware of any rules and directed me the library administrator. She called me a week later and told me that they have printed copies with the city logo on it that they hand out to parents stating that children cannot laugh, sing, run etc. at the library. I have yet to receive a copy of this document after numerous requests. I wish our taxes didn’t fund places like this. I cannot recommend in good conscience for anyone to bring their small children to this horrible place. Stay away.

Amazing place! Very quiet and organized, and the staff is super gentle

Free WiFi, table areas have plugins for laptops and other devices, on site computers and printing, at a reasonable fee for printing. sitting areas on second floor are near a window view off the main street and free parking lot. Wheelchair accessible throughout from first to second floor and washroom is clean.

I really like this library, it's nice and quiet as a library should be. Staff is friendly and you have huge variety of books too. But not much english books, you just have one shelf of English books
