The store itself is nice you can find a lot of Spanish products and they have many types of yerba mate. Plus there is a special section for traditional shoes. The staff and the owner of the shop were very nice and helpful with customers.
Nice little specialty grocery with Spanish ham and mate tea. They have a large shoe section at the back of the store, as well as some Latin America artifacts. Really like their iberico ham !
L’espaniola market is a lovely place you can find a many things from Spain. I loved the churro dulce de leche and alfangol. it was amazing. You can find good ingredients for your paella, by the way the place is not big but have what you need , nice service . Nothing better than a nice smile when you enter and when you leave. Don’t forget to buy a lottery ticket from there before you leave and if you win please 5% For me or more if you want to.
An interesting shop to see. Hand made shoes are cute. Potteries are full of culture and decently priced for an artisanal shop. Offers a handful of delicacy foods.
L'espanola has a very good variety of goods that are difficult to find elsewhere, including a very good selection of Yerba mate and a selection of bombilla straws. They also have a bunch of delicious treats - Chocolate, biscuits, etc. Unfortunately the lady working was quite terse, she must have been having a bad day. Our Serrano sandwiches, $7.75 each were also lacking on ingredients, and the 2.5 tomato slices on each sandwich were sliced paper thin. The bread they were on was good though.
Awesome service, very friendly and welcoming! It is like entering a different country; it has the vibe, the scent.. they have many products directly from Spain. Also hand made shoes from a small village, paper fans and much more, worth visiting! Make sure you taste the sweets! Wheelchair accessible
Great atmosphere, nice selection of Hispanic products and very good churros! There are even a shoe and book section That are interesting
Visited Montreal in December and was captivated by this deli. The Old World atmosphere and range of products not to mention the selection of Spanish language books and magazines was incredible. I wanted to buy everything there and kept visiting over the course of our stay just to take it all in. I will definitely go back every time I'm in Montreal. This place is a destination in it's own!
The staff is very polite and friendly. I had a pleasant experience for my first time. Definitely recommend you to stop by.
Great selection of yerba mate from Argentina and Brazil/Uruguay. The yerba mate was cheaper in this store than what I used to pay originally in South of Brazil. It's my go-to store in Montreal.
