More advice than an actual review but I’d say Liberty Tax like most places should all be taken with a grain of salt. There are some workers who know what they’re doing and conversely some that don’t. Make sure you ask a lot of questions and make sure the person that’s serving you is credible or at least has good experience. Overall, I’d say that I could recommend them. They’ve recently changed ownership and the new owners seem great!
I did my tax filing from them. Its was very quick and transparent. One of their staff, Albin helped me. He was very great and helpful. I am taking this opportunity to really thank him and yes I will definitely suggest you to my friends. Already I did though
I am really satisfied with my taxation service from liberty tax. I also appreciate Albin p biju for his efforts and timely completion of the procedures. I have recommended them for most of my friends and relatives.
Mr. Albin Biju has filed my taxes for 2 years now and he has been wonderful to work with. Answered all my questions, responded promptly, and is very well organized. Made filing my taxes simple!
While I phoned to set up a meeting, the employee did not inform me of all the required paperwork even though I did specifically ask what I should bring. I was not made aware that childcare was a write off. I also asked for a quote for time and cost, I was informed average of 85$ for a half an hours time. While I searched independently for my childcare total cost, I only used exactly a half hours time. And was then charged over 120$ for my time. My return is straight forward and simple, and the meeting was exactly the half hour quoted. So the cost was inflated after the meeting was finished. Conclusion, they are not straight forward with their cost or what the client should prepare to,bring for the meeting, the company inflates their fees as they wish.
Great service by Albin. He has been doing my Tax return for last couple of years and I am satisfied with the service provided. Highly recommend for others.

I had used Liberty Tax for 5/6yrs. Never had an issue. This year they put my wring address down when I hadnt moved in 4yrs so there was no reason to change my address. My fault for not double checking that the city and postal code was correct, fair, I looked past it because I saw my house address # was correct. But when my child tax stopped coming and figured out it was based on my tax filed addressbeing wrong... Liberty tax told me I had to basically deal with this transgression until it's time to do my 2021 taxes. When I dont work FT, my child tax is pretty important. 3xs since July it's been held a full extra month and 3hrs on hold getting it cleared each time it happens all because the address was filed wrong. A little annoyed, to say the least.
Had a wonderful experience. Great service working with Albin. Was really helpful throughout. Highly recommended.
