Liberty Classical Academy

As a new parent at Liberty Classical Academy, I can tell you that I am extremely pleased with the education that my daughter has received in these first 2 months. My husband and I chose Liberty for its classical methodology, its application of the Christian worldview, and its focus on high academics. So far, I can tell you that Liberty is excelling in all three of these areas. Each day my daughter comes home singing a new song or reciting a new poem (always with actions) that she learned that day. She loves learning the shapes, seasons, oceans, numbers, etc. Classical education works! My daughter is soaking up the Christian worldview through Bible memory work, songs, studying character traits like attentiveness and obedience, and being surrounded by men and women who portray the love of Christ to all of Liberty's students. Lastly, Liberty has been keeping up its promise to offer high academics. I see worksheets that my daughter has completed each day, so I am able to see what she is accomplishing in class and what I can work on with her at home. She has progressed steadily these past 2 months, and her teacher has been pushing her just enough to make school enjoyable and yet challenging. I appreciate that balance. Tomorrow morning, I will drive my daughter back to school for another day at Liberty. For the entire ride into school, she will joyfully sing songs that she is learning. Songs about fall. Songs about counting. Songs about shapes. Songs about God. And my heart will grow with thankfulness to God for placing our family at Liberty.

We are a four year participating family!! The decision to vest our child's education with Liberty stems from a dissatisfaction with what we were observing in the public forum. Our child is not only enjoying their lessons but is making meaningful friendships through faith. We are proud that LCA does not exclude people of different religions, belief systems or backgrounds. Rather, the school encourages families to be a part of the community via volunteer opportunities and committees. Our only reason for a 4 star rating is that the school is in need of more up to date technology in the computer room. It's our hope that through fundraising and financial diligence this too will be addressed in the future. Go Lions! #libertyclassicalacademy

Our family has been at Liberty Classical Academy for 12 years. We have seen the school grow from humble beginnings to a full PK-12th grade program. During this time, there have been so many wonderful teachers that have poured into each of our children. Our children have been encouraged to perform to their potential. They have not been overlooked or left to figure things out on their own. Having four children at four different levels of learning, we have seen how Liberty has been able to reach each one of them through the varied methods of learning. Our oldest son is a graduate of Liberty Classical Academy and currently attends Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He is thriving in college thanks to the classical education and leadership skills he received at Liberty. The focus of this education is teach students to analyze information and form their own opinion and no just repeat, on a test, what a textbook says. Although no school can please all of the people, all of the time, Liberty is a perfect fit for us. Liberty Classical Academy is teaching our kids how to be morally and spiritually respectful. Our I love that Liberty Classical Academy is teaching students to be moral, independent thinkers!!!

We just joined Liberty in the fall and my boys love their school. One of my goals as a parent was to instill a love for learning and reading-- Liberty helped me accomplish it! If you haven't heard of a Classical, Christian education, then you need to check it out. Take a tour and see the classrooms for yourself- the chants and rhymes will blow you away!

After having taught in the public school for almost 20 years, my teaching experience with the students,staff and parents at Liberty was nothing less than a miracle. I found the students abilities were above average for their grade level. There were absolutely no behavior or discipline issues. The parents and staff were most helpful,caring and professional people I've had the pleasure of working with in an educational setting. I am working on getting my grandchildren to enroll at Liberty. I encourage you to enroll your children and grandchildren at Liberty. You will not be disappointed !
