Lovely baby boutique. Great selection of high end brands. Visited this store on a Saturday and the staff member I encountered was friendly and very knowledgeable. The store isn’t huge but is able to hold a nice variety of popular baby products. Prices were reasonable and there was a large selection of sale products too.
Elaine, their car seat expert, helped me pick and install my car seat and explained Everything along the way. She is helpful, patient and extremely knowledgeable and did not rush or pressure me after spending over an hour going over all the options. I can drive feeling confident that my baby is safe and secure. The store also has a lot of very nice things for your baby or for a gift. Also if you call ahead, Elaine will book you an appointment with her.
I went to Li'l Niblets to purchase a stroller and a car seat for my granddaughter. It had been a LONG time since I raised my kids and I had no idea what make to choose and how to make the decision. At Li'l Niblets they spent so much time with me, answering my many questions, comparing their wide array of products and giving me a level of comfort about my choice. They did not steer me towards the most expensive models, in fact after listening to my needs they pointed me towards a more suitable and affordable solution. And I wasn't made to feel as though I needed to hurry my decision either. Once I chose the car seat, the woman who looked after me installed it and took the time to explain how it worked. In fact she suggested I come back when the baby was in the car so she could adjust it for me again. I did that and she was incredibly patient and kind. I also bought a stroller and they put it together for me and took the time to show me how it worked and point out the special features. In a society where everyone buys online or goes to stores that offer no guidance or assistance, it was a refreshing change. I walked out feeling good about my choices and have enjoyed both purchases. I would highly recommend Li'l Niblets to anyone who wants the best and most attentive customer service.
My husband and I just returned home from having our car seat installed by Elaine. She is extremely knowledgeable and took time to answer our questions even though we did not purchase our car seat directly from them. She even took the time to demonstrate how to properly & safely harness a child. We would recommend Li’l Niblets to any parent to-be or for those looking to buy a next stage car seat.
I just had the best experience in a baby store. I got advice on my car seat and stroller to keep my baby safe as a first time mom that I did not know I was doing wrong. They were polite and accommodating. Happy to shop there again.
What a WOW experience I had the other day when shopping at Lil'Niblets. I went to purchase a few items for my baby. I was looking at the car seats and Elaine offered help. I told her that I purchased my daughter's baby seat from some other store and wanted to look at the models they offer. She voluntarily asked if I wanted her to check the car seat to ensure the seat is installed properly! After our shopping, she walked with us to the car and fixed a few things. She also educated me about some other things about the car seat that I didn't know. Long story short, the staff at the store "X" where we purchased the car seat originally, didn't even have the manual for the car seat and we had to wait in the store for a long time to have it printed for us. Then we were asked to go online and look at the online tutorials! In the future, I will definitely, go to Lil'Niblets for my future shopping! Thank you all the staff, especially, Elaine! You are wonderful!
The staff are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to educate my wife and I between the differences and pros / cons on many different products from strollers & car seats to diaper hampers. Jeff spent a considerable amount of time with us and we always felt like we were getting an honest opinion and not a sales pitch. We definitely recommend this store.
Dangerous and unprofessional. My wife and I recently were shopping for a stroller that could accommodate both our new born and our toddler. After consulting with Valentina at Lil Niblets, we decided to go with the Baby Jogger City Select which can expand to a double stroller. Valentina assured us that the price was $409.99 for both the stroller and the extra seat with attachments and that the stroller can be used for running both my wife and I are runners. We travelled from Guelph, Ontario to pick up the stroller after putting the stroller on hold the website says purchases over $40 are free but they refused to ship it to us. When I arrived the next day, we were ringing through the purchase and they charged me $519.99, I explained that they are making a mistake as I had confirmed the price and had come in from out of town because of the price Valentina had assured us that we could get. Not only would they not honour the price, the manager did not even carry the professionalism to come and talk to me about it, flatly refusing to honour the price and sending the cashier to deliver the news. We purchased the stroller anyway because my wife was travelling the next day and needed it. When we did further research at home, we discovered that the stroller is not rated for running and that we could not use it for that purpose. Not only that, the woman who demonstrated the stroller for us, assured us that our three and a half month old baby was safe being in the stroller without a car seat. Further research identified that this is simply not true, that babies should be 6 months old before sitting in the stroller without a car seat. Please be warned that Lil Niblets is among the most unprofessional stores that I have visited and a danger to any child who's parent trusts the store's staff. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE, your child's safety is not worth it!
As a new mother of twins- I’ve travelled to every possible baby store/boutique in the GTA. But didn’t hear about Lil Niblets until recommended by a nurse. I was going to West Coast Kids consistently because of the selection- the customer service was always a hit or miss so I just did the research myself. I went all the way to BUY BUY BABY to get educated on car seats unfortunately the huge store didn’t always mean adequate supply of staff to assist. First impression you walk in, and staff is available to help- but gives you space to look around. I was advised they were in the middle of shifting their focus towards more of strollers, accessories, etc and were changing the store. I couldn’t tell- it looked neat to me and not overwhelming. I originally came in to get a matching crib mobile, the staff was super friendly. They didn’t have a second one that I saw online but offered to order it for me, and even showed me new ones that they could place orders for if I was interested. VERY refreshing, when I was so use to “If you don’t see it on the floor we don’t have it.” Secondly, they are in a bit of a transition so definetly just ask if you don’t see something- chances are they can order it for you or it’s in their stock room. I also asked for a bugaboo donkey twin adaptor that I didn’t see on the floor- there systems seem pretty accurate as the gentleman said they had it available and was back in minutes with the item. I wish I heard about this place earlier as it would’ve saved me a lot of time. They are customer focused, friendly, and have good product knowledgeable. This is my new go to I will definetly be back for many more things and recommend this to anyone looking for good service. A new loyal customer! - Viviane
The store itself was nice and easy to browse, however, we had a terrible experience ordering a stroller. At the time we were there, the particular stroller we wanted was out of stock, which was fine since our baby wasn't due for another month. We were told that if we paid upfront, we would be given priority once the shipment came in 2-3 weeks. A month went by and we still hadn't been notified about the status of our stroller so I phoned the store. I was then informed that our stroller wasn't in yet, and it would be another week or so, as well, the bassinet wouldn't be available until the end of August. Keep in mind we told them our baby was due at the end of June. Needless to say I was quite upset that no one bothered to let us know this considering we would have to make alternate arrangements if the bassinet wasn't available at all for the first 2 months of the baby's life. They didn't even seem to understand why not having the bassinet until 2 months later was such a big deal. For such a huge purchase over $1000 you would think they would have better customer service than that. I asked for a full refund but now have less than a week to find another stroller. Definitely not how I wanted to spend my last few days before the baby is born.
