The food is fresh and delicious, their sweet stuff especially. The place is very small and almost always busy, i don't think it is a suitable place for studying. It is environment friendly and a good choice for people who want to reduce their waste. Good for people who want to enjoy a peaceful morning/afternoon.

I love the selection and prices, such delicious bread and treats! One of my favourite spots to stop for a quick snack.

One of my favourite bakeries for take-out in the city. The croissants are one of my favourites, but unfortunately the last few times I’ve gone, the croissants have been a bit over-cooked and hold a burnt taste.

The Best Bakery in Halifax - make no mistakes. There is often a long lineup at 7:30 am. I even caught Santa and Mrs. Claus wanting LF croissants instead of cookies on Dec. 24.

One of, if not the best bakeries in Halifax, you can't go wrong with anything LF bakes. Grabbing a coffee and a pastry on a weekday morning and enjoying it on the patio is a weekly highlight. Their bread is fantastic to take home and enjoy for toast, or a sandwich. I cannot recommend LF enough.

Wonderful French bakery. Purchased 'Timber Bread' for the first time...flavourful and moist. Pain aux chocolat is terrific as is the Pate Brise blueberry tart. Highly recommend this bakery.

This bakery is likely the best in Halifax..go early!

Wow. Shamefully, my first time visiting LF. The pastries were worldly delicious and the loaf of Sour Dough was perfect. I will be back!
