I would like to thank the whole Dental team at Dr. Lewandowski Family Dentistry. Nicki the hygienist was Awesome with our 6 yr old daughter, first visit to the dentist! she was never afraid, also I have a slight dental phobia and Nicki was great with me and Dr. Bachelder too. she has been so patient with our daughter , myself and husband through all our dental work! Dr. Lewandowski and his office have always been kind , and now they have Nicki and Dr. Bachelder joining their team! Wanting to share this with everyone for a Positive New Year

I’ve always been the guy that hates going to the dentist but my first experience with dr Lewandowski was amazing. He’s a very personable and down to earth kind of guy. I had the pleasure to get my cleaning done by the new hygienist Nicole. She’s the best hygienist I’ve ever been to. My teeth have never felt so clean and it didn’t hurt. Lol.

My journey with Dr. Lew began about 15 yrs. ago. My Mom finally convinced me to make an appointment with her dentist, Dr. Lew. I had been avoiding going to a dentist because at the time my teeth were crumbling due to the effects of chemo treatments that I had received while battling cancer. I was convinced that any dentist I saw would have one solution......Dentures, my worst nightmare!! Thankfully Mom convinced me and I made that appointment. In walked Dr. Lew and Cathy with a totally different plan. It took time but Dr. Lew and Cathy completely rebuilt my smile!! His entire staff diligently worked to maximize my insurance benefits so that I paid as little as possible out of pocket. I will never forget the day that Dr. Lew seated my last crown and told me to close my eyes, Cathy held my hand while he placed a mirror in front of my face and he said when I tell you to, I want you to open your eyes and smile the biggest smile you have ever smiled. I opened my eyes, smiling bigger than I had smiled in years. Tears immediately started flowing down my face. I was so overcome I couldn't even talk. I think the entire staff had tears in their eyes by the time I left. I can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Lew and his staff are!! They are like family. I took my kids there and insisted that my granddaughter see him to fix a crown that another dentist had done a bad job on when she was young. She wanted her smile to be beautiful for her wedding which was only a few months away. She drove up here from Bay City to see Dr. Lew. Dr. and staff worked her in and made sure she was ready for her big day!! Anyone asks about a recommendation for a dentist on Facebook or anywhere else I tell them about Dr. Lew and his staff!! I am forever grateful to them!!

My husband has been here twice. 3 stars because there was some seriously poor communication. They can get you in fairly quickly, but just double check with the proper people regarding pricing if you pay cash for your dental services. And have deep pockets!

They made it easy to understand just what they would be doing for my paradontal dieese even before I walked into Dr. Lewandowski's office. Both Sarah at the front office and Maleasa my hygienist went above and beyond their duties. For instance, they knew I was on a strict timeline to get the entire procedure done. Which I admit was a lot less painful than others had told me. Next to the numbing of my mouth. I expierenced no pain during and after the paradontal cleaning. More about this..Knowing how my time would benifit me not only health wise but financially as well, I used the cost of my procedure towards my husbands flying miles. Talk about killing two bird's with one stone. You truly care about your patients and you're making a huge impact on people's lives.Thank you once again.

Had Nicole clean my teeth for the first time. She was great. Wonderful addition to the office.

I am a new patient of Dr. Lewandowski and my experience with him and his office was wonderful! All my life I dreaded going to the dentist and unfortunately I didn't go for cleanings regularly. When I did go I had some bad experiences so I would put it off. I made Doctor aware of this and he was so gentle. I had a partial made and the whole process was great! Kathy helped make it so easy and the rest of the staff were very nice. I would definitely recommend this office!!!

So far the office has been great got me in for a cleaning right away I ask how gentle they were after a bad experience. I was promised they both were.

I recently had a tooth break on a Sunday and the pain was horrible. I was really concerned about where to get this tooth taken care of because I know how busy so many dentists are and also I am terrified of going to the dentist. I currently live in the Houghton lake area and did not have a current dentist, Dr. Lewandowski came highly recommended by a close friend of mine. I was able to get an appointment right away which was bitter sweet because I knew I had to get this fixed but was quite worried about the painful experience I was about to receive. Upon arriving at Dr. Lewandowski's office I was greeting by the receptionist Sarah and she was really nice and pleasant which sorta put me in relaxing mood. I have to say this as well, the office was very clean and nicely decorated and that also made me feel at ease. I was taken back to get a digital xray and the tech was just as nice and calming which again I greatly appreciated. I decided to have the tooth extracted and of course that increased my heart rate thinking of how horrible that would be. I was moved to a different room for the extraction which was just as beautifully decorated and super clean. I was asked what kind of music I wanted to listen to and I chose some Fleetwood Mac, the tech asked Alexa to play Fleetwood Mac and that also put me at ease... Now in comes Dr. Lewandowski, with a big smile he cracked a joke with me and started some small talk that really made me feel comfortable. If he decides to retire from Dentistry he should pursue Stand Up comedy lol.. but all jokes aside, he talked me through the process and kept checking with me to make sure i was comfortable and not experiencing much pain. The tooth came out after some effort but the entire time my fear and comfort was at the top of Dr. Lewandowski's mind as well as his assistant's and for that I could not be more thankful. After it was all said and done Dr. Lewandowski gave me some parting information about what to expect and assured me if I had any concerns to be sure to call the office right away. To anyone who may be reading this and trying to decide what dentist you should schedule an appointment with, please take my advice someone who avoids the dentist because of fear Dr. Lewandowski's office is the best dental experience of my life and I can not thank him and his staff enough and I can not recommend them enough either. In parting, I was so impressed with the service I recieved, I scheduled a cleaning and exam in the near future. Thank you Dr. Lewandowski and Staff for your care and compassion and also for setting my mind at ease.. You are the best! On a personal note.... Thank you Dr. Lewandowski for working with me. Not having insurance is another reason i have avoided the dentist for years. I wont go into detail about what you did but you know what help you gave me and I dont know of any other dentist who would ever go above and beyond like you did. Thank you!

Today 9/16/2020 i had a wisdom tooth pulled && just want to say thank you to the amazing staff and Dr. Lewandowski himself for being so welcoming and doing such a good job at pulling my tooth with no pain involved and was very professional the atmosphere was great. this was the second tooth i had pulled at this office and i had a great experience both times!!! Thank you to kathy that assisted Dr. with pulling my tooth you made my experience great!!! thank you again
