Amazing local restaurant. Very friendly staff and quick service. The food tasted good and the portion was just adequate, not too much not too little, with good price : Also you can bring your own wine. definitely will come back try other dishes.
My husband and I came here on our honeymoon. The menu was seasonal, truly rooted in Quebec cuisine, and absolutely delicious. The bread that the baker bakes himself every day? Incredible. The best. They had serval duck courses that were all so delicious. My husband is not fluent in French, so the waiter actually looked up and practiced the presentation of each course in English in the back, it was incredibly sweet and such a welcoming gesture. I’ve never experienced that level of just amazing service. We had walked about 14 miles around the city that day, so we were dead tired, but every meal was amazing. We had the whole place to ourselves because it was a later dinner and at the time there were still a lot of Covid restrictions. Would definitely visit again next time we are in Montreal! We were there in October, but it came up again in conversation today which reminded me I never wrote the review. Glad to finally give you all the stars!
Very good French cuisine. A small menu but fantastic quality and quantity, at a very reasonable price too. Will definitely come back.
What a meal ! Where do I start ? The team is so nice & you can feel how they are dedicated to their cuisine. You can tell from the beginning the effort and attention with each course. We ordered for the duck which is always difficult to cook and it was delicious ! They are offering a take out experience really on another level, very few places in Montreal succeed at it and we can only assure you that this place does it well. Every container is served with additional sauce , extra bread , extra cheese , extra everything !!! I would love to go and eat there once this pandemic is over. I would love to ask them questions throughout the meal which is a whole experience itself. We recommend the 5 course meal. Every dish is so generously served. It was my partners birthday and she is so happy to finish the day with your meal guys ! Congrats and wish you the best , until next time

Excellent and very thoughtful ! Very impressed for take-out /delivery, our best experience so far. Generous portions, we even had a little bit of left over. Can't wait to go in person when it's allowed
The restaurant is positioned perfectly with easy parking on the street and easy to find. The atmosphere is quite friendly and the waiters are all very nice and professional. On the other hand, the food is only ok. Nothing neither outstanding nor original there. It's good but nothing more. The Cooking of the snail was not perfect and the blue cheese sauce was not very perfumed.I always expect blue cheese to taste a lot, but it was only subtle. The cavatelli was good, but nothing more. The meat was not exceptional though. I took the beef cheek and my friend had the duck. The first was way better than the latter. And the pistachio cake was a little bland. They have Laguiole knives which is always a nice touch. I appreciated overall.
Do not expect a young and trendy hip restaurant. Yet it is simple and classic place. The quality of the food is constant year after year. I have been eating here for about 20 years. The average clients is much older, I would say 40 ish and up mainly. The foie gras is to die for! I have ate the foie gras at pied de cochon, Toqué, Europea, La chronique and many more top restaurants in Montreal and La colombe top them all : The deer steak with black risotto is what I love to eat at this place. The rest of the dishes are pretty good too but the deer and the foie gras are my go to food FYI is it a bring your own wine place.
All people are very friendly and I feel we are welcome! What we ordered are more than what we expected!! Really appreciated their services and cook skills and everything tonight! Highly recommend!
