I ordered a Christmas Log cake and I did not expect what I received photo attached. It’s ridiculous. I ordered a cake and not whipped cream. Geez look at the sponge or cake itself, it’s too thin and majority is whipped cream? Disgusting.. For 41$ and you’re eating whipped cream. Really? No more next time…

Super costumer service, super tasty, super cool prices, super everything and anything, Love that place good to buy for birthday, wedding, meeting,you name it. ferrero rocher cake amazing Cheesecakes is to die for Cookies, pizza, bread, all kind of yummy things, the best part is how they treat the costumer, a smile a nice conversation You feel like you are cooking at home. I love loving that place and the gentleman on the cash was sooooo friendly and family man And the girl who serve us was so understanding in what we are looking for. I will repeat forever .thank you so much for the amazing service and super yummy cakes

Yesterday, I bought a strawberry short cake for my niece's 10th birthday from Les Délices Lafrenaie LASALLE. I received photos of strawberry with MOLD on the cake from my brother. They had to throw 3/4 of the cake. BECAUSE they DON'T EAT IT NOR SAVE IT in the refrigerator when the FOOD went BAD. So today, I called the store and talked to the person who served me yesterdaybrother of the owner, and he asked me if I would like to get monetary reimbursement or get a new cake so I said I would like to have a fresh cake. The person on the phone said, he will keep the cake on the side for me. So I went to the store, I explained to the person who works there, assume that he is the owner of the store cuz he said, he is not running the business like that. ?? He is NOT going to GIVE A NEW CAKE IF I AM NOT BRINGiNG THE MOLDY CAKE that I gave it as a gift to my niece last night. He started raising the voice which I had no intention of arguing with him. Why do I need to fight to get a fresh cake that I paid for...? He made me feel humiliated and accused me like If I were there to lie. I even wondered if he would act like this if I weren't a young Asian woman. He went to talk to his brother in the backstore and came back alone. I showed him the picture of the strawberry, and he said, "This Is NOT A MOLD." He said the cake is "daily made but ONLY ONE strawberry that went bad". ?? I am stil wondering the intention of his words. Does it means the cake is fresh? Cuz ONLY ONE strawberry has mold; is that even possible? I guess he usually eats and sells the food when it's PARTIALLY rotten He said he needs to talk to the cake company, if they are not reimbursing him, he will not give a new cake. End of his phone call with the cake company he was told to provide a new one to me. While cutting my conversation, he gave me the cake and said in a mocking tone " WHY DONT YOU CHECK IF THE STRAWBERRY IS FRESH OR NOT". First of all, it is YOUR JOB and YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check if the cake that YOU ARE SELLING is FRESH OR NOT. I am not the one who should be concerne of freshness or cleanliness of your product. If I knew this before, I wouldn't bother to purchase cakes from your store neither recommending this store to my friends. Second of all, if you ever get a complaint about your cake, you should talk to your cake company the way you talked to me. Don't talk to a customer like if it were customer's fault to purchase a rotten cake from you. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED of selling moldy cakes, not the customer who got wasted their time and money for your moldy cake. My family is buying MINIMUM 15 cakes a year from your store because my niece and nephew used to love cake from Lafrenaie. But I will make sure that none of my family nor my friends will go buy a cake from your store. By giving a moldy strawberry short cake and ruining my niece's 10th birthday was critical to me and all my family who couldn't celebrate with her cuz of pendemic. But I thought it was first time that it happened to us and I was going to give her a new cake today so it was certainly a forgivable incident. But the way you dealt the customer service? There is no way that I take back what I said. Conclusionally, I deserve an apology and feel sorry for your brother who delivered better customer service.

called in advance to have a fresh cake and i got mold strawberry 2e bad birthday cake was giving them another chance since I never have issue with the St-Leonard location way over priced for the poor quality nothing is fresh, everything is frozen Avoid them

Wonderful experience, the grestest staff, kind and helpful and i highly highly recommend. I was in contact with Tony for my daughter's first cake and it was amazing, beautifully done and Tony was great in responding emails. I will always get my cakes from La Frenaie Lasalle. Thanks for make my daughter happy on her first Birthday, great job on the cake. Thank you again

Amazing!!!! I absolutely love the desserts here! Very friendly people. I got a big box of 10 desserts and a Panettone for my fiances birthday and he loved them very much : Lots to choose from and they have more then just desserts. A freezer section of pre made cakes, food and pastas and a pre packaged section of pastries and another side of meats and cheeses I believe. Definitely coming back with my fiance for more!

I normally never write reviews for anything but after receiving a cake from Lafrenaie Lasalle today that was inconsumable, I knew I had to write something. Firstly, I noticed white dots all over the cake. From far, it seemed as though it was a part of the cake but upon closer inspection the white that was all over the cake was fuzzy!! It was not icing or powdered sugar like I assumed. I couldn't believe what I was seeing so I then cut the cake, flipper it over to inspect it and found mold. I was completely disgusted! I understand mistakes happen but as a new establishment with a reputable name, this shouldn't happen. Also, this is embarrassing for customers who purchase these desserts as gifts. I hate having to write a negative review as their Nutella horns are amazing but I don't think I can go back to this establishment.

I had to say that I was quit surprised by this place. My fiancé had a surprise birthday cake for me and she couldn’t make it on time, but Tony, the owner had our back! He stayed 35 minutes after his closure to make sure I’ll have my cake. Not only that, he contacted my fiancé this morning to make sure everything was fine. The cake was AMAZING!!! I will definitely be back every time that I need something sweet. Keep it up Tony!!

Big thank you to Tony! Excellent service. I ordered a 10" Strawberry Cheesecake for a 30th birthday. I had a dilema as didn't realize they closed at 5:00 on a Thursday. I was not able to pick up the cake. I asked Tony whom I never met if it would be possible to drop of the cake at resto Bocci down the street. Without hesitation Tony delivered the cake without accepting extra $. I would highly recommend Les Delices Lafrenaie
