I visited the store in Bayview Village last evening to buy a Spanx. I was talking with the sales person, she was a nice lady, I asked for her advise and she said based on your height and weight I think you will be in large. I said I am concern about the size and I think I am medium but their store policy is not to try on the products. I followed her although I was 80% sure that I have to buy medium. As soon as I arrived home i checked the one i had at home and found out that it was medium. I even didn't try it and first in the morning I went back to the store. The same sales person and the store manager Lorraine were in the store and I explained everything to them and asked to help me. even I showed both to them and Sales person convinced that I didn't wear the new one, Lorraine said that's the store policy and we do not exchange it for you. I explained that I am their customer for 8 years and they knew me well, and the truth is that I rely on sales lady opinion for the size. The manager said I will call the head office if they accept they accept and if not you have to leave the store. I said I hope they accept otherwise I have the right to tell the story for other to know about the solid policies and inflexibility. She Lorraine said I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I'M LEAVING. And Suddenly , she The manager - Lorraine hanged the phone and in a very rude way started threaten me to either leave the store immediately or she will call the security. I insisted that I need medium and if you don't exchange it at least give me the medium to buy. She left the store angrily and came back with security. There was another lady in the store who was buying witnessed all these also the sales person was there. i was shocked because I didn't do anything wrong. The security came and the witness lady explained them how rude the manager was to me and she said, I wont spend a dollar in a store with such terrible customer service and attitude towards customer specially in a mall like Bayview Village that the customers are from a different class and level. The security was wondered why she called security as the witness lady was explaining what was happening and I never raised voice and did nothing wrong. Security asked the manager to give the head office contact to me to follow up directly and I left the store. I have worked in the retail and in Bayview Village for 3 years and I never ever experienced such a poor and rude customer service and was highly sorry for this store for having such a manager that ruin the brand name and reputation. SHE CLAIMED SHE IS LEAVING THE STORE AND SHE DOESN'T CARE THOUGH.
