Great new space! You must visit the interpretive centre. Plus there is an amazing gift shop inside fille with Alberta made goods!
Alot of information and shows about Alberta history and the legislative assembly history. I learnt alot from here about the province I am proud to call home. In summary, a great place to visit for families and children.
This is a lovely touristy place where one can watch a short 4D movie showcasing history of Alberta, a gallery with interchangeable exhibitions and a beautiful store with local artwork hwere even Albertans can find excellent gifts when travelling to other countries! Amazing place! Must go visit! And everything is for free! Well, except for the art store ;
The new Visitor Centre is lovely. No longer hidden underground, it's on ground level at the newly renovated Federal Building. Enter through the 'Centennial Plaza' which is also another plaza name in Edmonton. There is a permanent gallery space showcasing the history of Alberta and how provincial government works on the southeast side. On the northeast side there is a rotating exhibit space, gift shop carrying local products, and a 4D theatre experience with a 3d film and special effects.
The free tours are great and the staff are lovely! I loved learning more about Alberta and our guide, Matthew, was amazing, informative and was very passionate!
A must-see for visitors to Edmonton and Edmontonians alike. Highlights include a theatre showing an interactive short film on the history of Alberta, a gallery showing rotating exhibits, and a boutique highlighting Alberta-made products.
Amazing place to visit! Highly recommend to check out a 4D theatre.
The building and tours are amazing! Definitely worth it!
