Not a bad place but is really filled with a lot of issues that need fixing. When working here, I had my phone stolen by a client and then was told to wait for a time to retrieve it? Um no this could require some police or at the very least some attention from coworkers or staff but instead I was told that their meetings were more important. The prioritization of the workplace needs some fixing along with being more flexible with their employees in taking time off for a place that prides itself for being a mental health workplace center and giving its employees the proper time off if needed.
We have been finding that it is extremely difficult to find good mental heath care. My daughter has been going here for several years now and she has had some good experiences with her therapist at Lee Carlson, but she needs more and has not been given good direction on where to turn. The psychiatric portion at Lee Carlson is severely lacking. There is no in-network psych evaluation options there, it is extremely difficult to manage prescriptions and when a therapist leaves, there is no follow up on finding a proper replacement therapist. There is no treatment plan with goals to work toward. We were having a crisis a couple of weeks ago, I filled out a form on line and left a message because we do not have direct access to her therapist or psychiatrist and not one responded to me for over 2 weeks. If you are struggling and feel you have no where to turn, this is not the place for you.
This business relies on performance of potential per client. That fact your tests and measurements don't equate to progress recognized by policy is simply not the fault of the client.
Not a bad place overall. People were nice and the new patient process was easier with more helpful staff than others. Seems family oriented. Scheduling is near impossible. As a new patient I had to wait weeks before an opening would work for my schedule multiple times. As a working professional trying to cope with work stress I shouldn't have to worry about missing work to attend sessions. Billing is archaic. To use electronic payment you have to call and have the person answering the phone manually process the payment. Get with the times.
They never refill my perceptions on time, I ounce went a month without pills because the front office wouldn’t answer their phones.
