Le Rustique Bar et Restaurant

When selecting this restaurant, I read a review that stated we needed a reservation to come here. I called with a 30 minute heads up for a party of four. The woman told me she had one table left and would save it for us. We get there and are not greeted right away. We stood around looking for someone who may be a hostess, which was hard to tell because there is no sort of uniform. The bartender seems to be the only server and was also the one who answered the phone. She takes us to a table surrounded by two other empty tables and says again this is my last table. We roughly spent two and a half hours here and not by choice. We were starving and were ready to order right away. We were not checked on for a water refill until the food came and that was the only one we got. My pork was undercooked and full of fat. My fiancé did enjoy his lamb and our friends enjoyed the deer. This is the only reason this restaurant gets three stars. Portions are small for the price. The service was awful and the amount of time to get anything was awful. The bathrooms are not marked so I guessed they were unisex and ended up in one with the toilet seat up. Gross. The other two empty tables were never sat, by the way.

Reservations are required! Delicious and unique menu, but portions are small. Cozy atmosphere - fireplace lounge and pool table. Decent selection of local beer on tap. Check out Thursday's special for two.
