I liked roseline for the service and wine list. The wine list is generous and has nice options despite the higher price point. However options by the glass are limited for a wine bar. The service we got was nice from the team there on a Wednesday night. The minus for we was the food, potions are tapas style so quite small. We had the asparagus and burrata, Gnocchi and the baked Alaska and for the last two, the flavor parings were unusual, not complimentary and made for a poor dish.
We visited Roseline for New Years Eve dinner and had an excellent time. The wine bar is in a very warm and inviting location, with several low seating comfy leather chairs for a very casual wine tasty with friends as well as typical chairs and tables for those wanting to enjoy a meal as well as drinks. There are a number of wine offerings and the staff are knowledgeable about the selection as I have no clue about wine!. They guided us to one of the best glasses of red wine we had every had. The menu is brief but sufficient, especially considering this is a wine bar. We enjoyed the lamb chop and osso bucco, both served with mashed potatoes and carrots. Although it took a bit of time to get, the meal was very good. Service was attentive throughout our visit. Parking: On St. Laurent Blvd just north of St. Joseph, parking is always a challenge after 7pm.
First time back to Montreal and this was made lovely by a dinner at a beautiful, intimate wine bar - Roseline! Reservation was made by a friend, and they were accommodating to have an additional friend join us. Tables are small and intimate; there were also lounge chairs and sofas around for those who come for wine and snacks. Food was incredible, but small portions, not a typical tapas plate for several people, perhaps suited for 2-3 at a table. What a pleasant surprise to also have a live jazz band play on a Saturday night! Pictured 1 the best dish, the homemade gnocchi 2 Cod Accras a side of Shirazi brunoise and citrus mayonnaise 3 Homemade focaccia, grilled cheese, Zatar spices 4 Linguini pesto sauce and pistachio crumble 5 Charcoal grilled shrimps Cajun, thaï pepper and garlic marinade, homemade pico de gallo
A neat Cafe-Restaurant fusion with fabulous service, very exciting tastes and great ambient music also live band on Fridays. The atmosphere, food and the people at Le Roseline made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended.
Great experience, the service is amazing and the meals taste great and are creative. Great place to grab a drink and have a bite with friends. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible
Unexpected amazing night here, we were sitting outside but seeing the setting and decor inside is sumptuous and well chosen/classy vibes. The food and service were on point, everything was perfect! Thank you le Roseline we had a wonderful evening me and my gal pals.
Perhaps one of the best meals I have had in years, this beautiful intimate restaurant has wonderful delicious cocktails and an incredible wine list. While it is listed as a wine bar, the food really shines! We shared a meal with another couple, all tapas style, including the fish. What incredible flavours in perfect harmony with the wine. Combined with an extraordinarily well-trained staff and the great ambience, this is one of Montreal's best hidden gems. I highly highly recommend Roseline!
Menu is exquisite and change from time to time. Ambiance is great, music, lightning are well balanced. The tapas style is ideal to share. The best experience is going 4 people and order EVERYTHING, even the dessert.Food: 5/5
Amazing food! Portions are good for the price. Quick and friendly service. The restaurant is beautiful also. Highly recommend!
Loving the atmosphere reflecting the chic and vintage French pleasant ambiance. The little details from the music to the small artwork in the place make all the differences. The customer service was impeccable! I stayed the whole day for the coffee shop during the day, the wine in the evening and try the food for supper. I highly recommend this place!
