The last time I had an experience like this with food was when I was at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. How? Well.....each bite literally burst into a well orchestrated spectrum of flavours. The utter attention to detail that has gone into creating this level of culinary art and then humbly calling it a bakery is fantastically charming. The environment and service gracefully escorts their carefully selected and exclusive pieces to showcase. This is First Class. I'll be back.
Patisserie Le Pont is a great premium pastry shop in West Vancouver, British Columbia. They are best known for their eclairs, made from crispy and tender choux with an amazing pastry cream. The quality of their pastry is high, and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend visiting, taking a nite, and enjoying the shop.
We popped into Le Pont to enjoy some drinks and try out their wonderful eclairs. I've always thought of eclairs as being long, like a hot dog bun. These were small and round choux pastries stuffed with cream, so basically...cream puffs. Or profiteroles as they're called in French. All of the signage at the shop though refers to them as eclairs. Maybe bite sized eclairs are a new trend that I havn't heard of? Eclairs, choux, profiteroles...Call them what you will; these were an absolute treat! I loved how crispy the choux pastry was, and the fillings were so flavorful. The Matcha eclair was my absolute favourite. I will definitely be heading back there again! Me and my mom quickly became practically regulars here. This place offers the best version of eclairs I’ve ever tried in Canada they call them zaku zaku! On top of that, we decided to order a cake from them for my bday. And it was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! As a person who used to work in a French patisserie and also tried almost every pastry/desert place in Vancouver, I was convinced that I’d be hard to impress. But this place surely did and I always want to come back for more!
Great little pastry shop near the beach with a lot of options. We loved the zaku, chouquette, and also their cold brew.
So delicious! The ladies in the shop are very friendly and happy. If I wasn't leaving today I'd walk the shore path and stop here every day.
Please be aware - their latte marked at 5 dollars are made by some instant machine. Not by human. They tasted really bad. When you pay for it, they do not inform you. And they refused to refund after I realized it later. If you would like to pay 5 dollars for some weird taste can coffee there. You should go ahead. If you expect some real coffee made by human hands, avoid here. No offense but Starbucks is even better.
One of the best Ekler we taste. The new place in West Vancouver, just opened in May 2023.

Very disappointing! I had been waiting for 3 months for its opening. I was looking forward to how I would taste soft eclair with delicious filling but… overpriced tiny buns with tasteless cream! I hope one day the chef will visit France and see how eclairs are supposed to look like. But now 2 stars.
