We bought our wedding rings here. We visited several downtown stores and decided to shop here. One of the models on display has a very lovely gem, while the other one has a good design, we asked them to put the gem and the design together, and add two smaller gems on the sides, they did it beautifully. The staff are very nice. Pierre is patient, never pushy, and a good listener. He noted down our requests and communicate with their factory. We are very satisfied with the service and the products.
Really enjoyed this store. It's beautifully sorted with paper goods and their selection of Mat & Nat products is wonderful. I bought a wallet and the attention was personal and patient. Very pleased and impressed. Made my purchase experience pleasant.
Well it is closed now so no frill but honestly, over priced, and even during a sale. Cashier charged me for 18 birthday cards when I only bought 8. It's the Indigo that doesn't understand the market.
I'm so sorry to see this place close. I have bought a lot of things from here . Nice stuff. Too bad. Great sale I bought 2 items for my grand children just before closing. Will miss u
Went to the jewelery section twice in a row, a few minutes before closing, and staff seemed uninterested in serving or helping me. They just stood there staring at me as I browsed the jewelery. I even felt judged by them that I was just looking. They couldn't care less about my money or patronage. The woman even began to close the gate of the store while I was browsing. I felt very unwelcomed.
Lots of good stuff for adults and kids.I passed by this place 6 years ago so many times when I stayed in Montreal for a month.Thinking I would bring my future kids here in the future, today we visited Montreal and I remembered this place so brought my daughter and she loves the place. We ended up buying 2 French educational books and a princess costume. On the other side of the store they sell watches, bags, candles, even excellent chocolates!
I can never really enter this shop because it's located at berri-uqam metro station and there are always hundreds of scary bums around the shop entrance. Why shop direction is not caring about safety and comfort of their clients? I actually have a very nice idea on how to improve your shop. You can rent a place for these homeless people, like a small apartment or a house, so they leave there peacefully and your business will improve because much more people will have less fear to enter Le Parchemin. Don't thank me for this idea, just take and use!
They have a lot of things, and the prices are good. But some staff members can be uninterested at best, rude and condescending at worse. I'm going there less and less, and to friendlier places instead.
Cute little bookstore inside of the Berri UQAM metro I went here to sniff around their seasonal Christmas decorations and items They had a nice selection of quite unique things, but the price was a bit high There is also jewelry, books of course and much more
I loved their going out of business sale! but in their good times I only bought stuff from the pen section... the rest was a bit pricey
