Great breakfast and service. The owner and the rest of the team seemed to care about their restaurant. They also seemed to have a good relationship with their regulars. It was my first experience but if I'm around for breakfast again I'll def go back! -1 star for a little over price and too many choices.

The food was good, but the experience with the male waiter was awful. I was trying to get an additional crape and bowl of fruit with my order and I was willing to pay extra for it, but the waiter said "If you want your food your way cook it at your house, but here you have to take it the way we do it!". In addition the waiter's clothing was extremely soiled and dirty. I also couldn't use their bathroom as it was smelling very badly. Given all of this, I wonder about the cleanliness of their kitchen. I feel like the Health Department should give them a visit to upgrade their standards of hygiene!!!

The food seemed ok although the bacon tasted like rubber. Good prices for breakfast but got very sick later that day and so did my boyfriend...coincidence?? Ambience seemed stressful and loud, waitress was nice but didnt bring us everything we needed or had asked for. Won't be going back since I'm pretty sure we both got food poisoning. I think maybe the eggs were expired.

95% of their food is microwaved. All omelettes are made the night before and warmed up the next day in the microwave and then served to go. The fruit and vegetables lettuce especially are not fresh. Take caution and inspect your food. On the service side, there's a waitress that swears all the time and smells of cigarettes, and is actually quite rude to her customers. We were lucky and didn't get her as our waitress.The owner yells alot are her staff, and overall the dining area is noisy, it's small and very dim unless you're by the windows And last but not least the decor needs some serious upgrades, and the smell of mould is strong enough. Not sure why this place is getting any good reviews. Health inspectors really should go by more often.

This is a popular breakfast restaurant in Aylmer, Quebec. We were looking for a place for breakfast and several people suggested that we come here. They were right. The place was buzzing. We had breakfast with eggs, sausages and hash browns with whole grain breads and some fruits. The place reminded me of IHOP. Coffee was good. Service was great and friendly. People spoke English. Our server was born in Innisfail, Alberta. Quite a friendly guy.

Great place for quick and cheap breakfast. Their menu is pretty standard for a breakfast place and their service is friendly, fast and welcoming. Their staff is very bilingual and vegetarian options are available.

place was completely packed except for a few tables, feeling a bit nervous that the food would take a long time to be cooked, proved completely wrong. i am from south ontario and was visiting gatineau for the weekend, decided to try le matinal. Was seated within a few seconds of walking in the door,The bilingual server was excellent, wishing my girlfriend a happy birthday and remembering exactly what we had the day before. The food was superb, ordered the eggs benedict. and it showed up within 5 minutes. felt very necessary to tip $20. in saying all that, i am very surprised to see that it only has a 3.9 star rating. Breakfast was so good i had to go back the next morning!

Stopped by for breakfast this morning, and it was great and a good price! You don't find too many places like this anymore. On top of that, excellent service! Thanks for a great experience.

Went in on a friday at lunch time. SUPER SLOW SERVICE. Freezing cold inside. It looked like they only had one server on maybe? Food was ok/average. Waited way to long to order, to get food then for the bill..... we had to get up to leave so we would be given the bill. Wouldnt bother going back.

Nathanial is one of the hardest workers I have seen at that place....and generally the service is very good regardless. The early morning special is an excellent deal $6.25 a selection of 10 or so plates.
