Ordered the Saskatoon berry compote crepe gluten free made with buckwheat flour to share with my partner. We ordered a decaf latte with almond milk and a regular latte. We both enjoyed our drinks and the crepe was really tasty. I love all the flour free treats available. I've never been disappointed with any of their baking. Their pieces are beautiful works of art and delicious. It's not cheap, but it's because there's a lot of effort put into each item and maintaining this place as a beautiful tranquil place to come eat.
Delicious food! They treated my large group very well and even saved us a larger table. 10/10 recommended when passing through Regina or if you live there.
One of my favorite spots in town. They make the best London fog I've ever had!! The food is really good, staff is attentive and friendly as well :
This is the first French bakery I visited; in general, the space was not outstanding, but because the bakery appears to be cozy and the bakery has both a cafe and sells breakfast, many people prefer to visit because of the convenience shop type. Concerning the staff, I dislike the staff here because they are impatient in waiting for their customers. For example, last week when I went to buy a cake, they were impatient and had a bad attitude toward me. Instead of waiting for me to ask, "Anything Else?" I believe they should guide and recommend delicious and unique cakes to new customers. The second is about the cake I purchased, which consists of a dozen Macarons, a Pitasschio, and a Fruit tart, as shown below. They all have the same flaw in my opinion and taste: the cream in the cake is too sweet and very sweet. It was too sweet for me to eat any longer. By definition, macarons are sweet, but in terms of taste, the flavours I purchased are nothing special except for chocolate, because chocolate flavour is the flavour that shows its taste most clearly and accurately. If I have the opportunity again, I will try other bakery dishes, but I will not recommend them to those who are not as fond of sweets as I am. However, if you enjoy French cakes, you can try them and make suggestions.
Nice clean café, friendly staff… other than it may get busy and crowded at certain popular rush hour, like 1PM, really enjoy it. Light breakfast or brunch is nice… or coffee/tea …
This cake was very light and not too sweet, 4/5 because there is room for improvement the choke cherries and other fruit were nice touches. I think it could have been less light and a bit more sweet.
Le Macaron was pleasantly surprising and admirable in that their menu items range from simple baked breads to pâtisserie and viennoiseries to beautiful collections of Entremets, savoury dishes, and a varied drink menu. The ambiance is quite elegant and the place is always clean and cozy. It can get confusing though sometimes as the tills are in the middle of the display cases so the customers will browse right and left and then drift back to the line in the middle to order. The cakes are absolutely gorgeous and i find this the only place in the city that makes Entremets that doesn't overwhelm with sweetness other than Utopia cafe more Asian versus European. The balance between the smoothness of the cream with the bitterness of cacao will always leave me happy the way Le Macaron does it and no one beats their London Fog. Will definitely recommend!
Let me start by saying…I like this place. The atmosphere is great. It is clean and customer service is fine. Coffee selection is great. But for the past 3 times I ordered sweets … pistachios, caramel cheesecakes . I have had extreme stomach pain. I am starting to think there is something in the ingredients used and it is irritating my stomach. I have no gluten allergies. I am Not sure of the chef changed or Something but this is within the year I have noticed something is off with the sweet products. I will continue to come and get coffee but nothing else .
Our family had a great experience at Le Macaron. Food was excellent we ordered the Crepes spanish and classic, and some sweet cakes and macarons that was so tasty. My husband like everything that we ordered which had so picky taste and I was surprise that he likes food here Ambiance was so perfect not too bright not too dim. It was clean and neat. Girls working name stef, regine, and belle are amazing , fantastic always had a happy face and friendly. Over all it was great experience. Highly recommended
Pretty great desserts with lots of different options. Prices are probably on par with other bakeries in the city, but can be seen as pricy to some, especially when buying multiple items, but quite worth it in my opinion. None of the desserts I tried were too sweet, and all had a very nice taste! I also appreciated the minor decorative details.
