Incredible experience! It feels like you are over at your friend's house and they are the best cooks in the world. They cook super fresh food and pick out great wines to go with the food. Highlights of the menu were the sweatbreads, scallops, and venison medallions. I also had one of the best digestifs i have ever tried. Truly a memorable experience!
Great food, great atmosphere. They talk about their menu before you order. Very cool. We had deer croquettes, fish dumpling , shrimp and pork, and crème brûlée. Superb on every level. I wish the price was a bit more affordable.
For me, one of the great restaurants you need to try if you’re visiting Quebec City. No pretentiousness, tasty food and a great selection of natural wines. We were the last ones in the place and spent some quality time with our waiter Sylvain. Thanks again for the great hospitality.
Pretty good spot. Interesting dishes sprinkled into standard fare blood cakes with scallops, crab with gazpacho. Nothing mind blowing like we got other high tier french spots we've visited. Sweet bread was a solidly good dish; duck was a bit dry. Presentation is great. Hip and cool vibes.
One of the best dining experiences ever. Food was great and the atmosphere was better. We were the only anglos in the restaurant, but there were no problems at all. Hope to visit again.
Incredible place. Was not expecting such excellent quality of food here. Incredible value, great customer service. One of the tastiest dinners I've had in a long time. Bison tartare as an appetizer followed by pork with sweet potato purée and broccolini. I will be back. Extremely impressed.
One of the top 3 experiences in a restaurant of my life. From the amazing food, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the great music, the great cocktails, the impeccable food, and of course the INCREDIBLE staff! Unforgettable…thank you gents! BUFFALO!!!!!
The vibe, the food, better than any other restaurants I have tried so far in Quebec City, I would definitely come back! If I get another chance to visit Quebec City again, we will see If you like chill and relaxed environment, this is the place.
Incredible experience, it really feels like these guys are cooking just for you. They only do 2 dinner services per night so make sure to reserve in advance. Small menu, 4 appetizers and 4 mains, but everything they make is so good and high quality. Pescetarian friendly but not a great choice for vegetarians or vegans. We had sweetbreads in truffle cream sauce I was skeptical but of course it was absolutely delicious, haddock and Israeli couscous, and the waygu beef. Bill was about $150 for two people with a drink each and no desert. Would absolutely go again - if you have a chance and love good food this place is a must visit!
I came yesterday, Oct 28, and I had a tremendous experience with my friend. I am a former cook, and I was lucky to have the table where I could see the cooks work - with an electric stove. I had the octopus and mussels, my friend had the sweetbreads to start. Both were delicious, but the octopus was an incredible dish with every flavour and texture to be found. The mains we ordered were the beef and the scallops and black pudding, which were also very good. The beef was a bit grizzly, and the scallop potatoes were really good for scallop potatoes, I'm just not a fan. The brownie dessert with Irish cream whipped cream was amazing. But the people and the ambiance were really exceptional. very attentive service in a very laid back, unpretentious, relaxed and relaxing, intimate space. We felt we were treated exceptionally well by the host, the server and even the cooks who were jovial and great. This is a must-visit spot if you're in town.
