Had a lovely experience dining here during our trip to Montreal. The servers were very courteous and the food was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were amazing too and everything that we tried was super flavourful. Can't wait to visit again
I don't usually leave reviews but after dining at Le Kebab I knew I had to commend them for the wonderful experience I had. From the impeccable service to the delicious Turkish food it was truly an eye opening experience! I am from Vancouver but I frequent Montreal often and without a doubt, this will definitely be a place I visit each time I am in the area and a must go to restaurant that I recommend to others. 5/5
Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The lentil soup was the best me and the wife have ever had; tasty and warms you up on a cold winter’s day. The Adana kebab was really good too. Meat was fresh and flavorful. Service was good and prompt.Recommended dishesLentil Soup
The waitress/cashier is very friendly and accommodating however the food was so cold aside from the fries. I had to take most of it home so I could reheat it. We waited almost 30 minutes for it too, so I assumed it would be piping hot. I felt that the boulgour/rice was a little oily for my liking and the Turkish kebab wasn’t the best I’ve tasted better but again I’m basing it off of how it was served…
The staff are very nice. You get really generous quantity for the money you pay. Highly recommended.
*UPDATE* I went again and order the chicken Kebab plate and this was DELICIOUS. Much better than the Adana! Definitely recommend the chicken plate. It’s a LOT OF food though, so beware, come with an empty stomach! I order the Ezme as an appetizer and the Adana kebab as my main. The Ezme was good, basic. The Adana kebab I found a bit bland; I was expecting a burst of flavours, instead it was very mild seasoning. The rice is ok as well. Overall, I was a bit underwhelmed by the Adana and Ezme. The ONE saving grace was the bread; it’s made fresh, in house and MY GOD! It was delicious! I will be back tomorrow to try the doner chicken plate!
Le Kebab does Turkish food justice. We ordered a mixed kebab plate for two, and the portions were generous for the price. We had to put the rest of the plate in a to-go box because we couldn’t finish it allthats always a good sign, especially for big eaters like us. The meats were juicy, tender, and well seasoned. The plates came with the classic Turkish side of burghul, fries, bread, and a garden salad; all of the sides were delicious and tasted fresh. The plate would have been perfect if it came with some sort of sauce or yogourt based side instead of so many carb-heavy sides fries, bread etc… However, we were provided with yogourt upon demand. We finished it off with some turkish tea and kunefe and what can I say, they were both so gooooood especially the warm gooey kunefe. The service overall was excellent and the place was clean although it is kind of small inside, so you may have trouble finding a place to eat inside on a busy day.
I liked the food very much. quality, quantity, Service and presentation was good. A young boy served us. he was very polite and a hard working guy. We were sitting outside. It wasn't a noisy place.
Amazing food and amazing people. This was my first time visiting Montreal and this was the first place I had dinner after reaching. Because I don’t know French I had issues creating a parking ticket. They realized that I was new to the city and were kind enough to put the parking charge on house. And the food. Some of the best kebabs I have ever tasted in my life. Highly recommend this place!
I love this place. It feels like an escape and portal to Turkey. I was completely transported. I stumbled upon this gem a couple of days ago looking for refuge from a treacherous snow storm. I was met only with warmth and nourishment from the exceptional people inside Le Kebab. The staff was so hospitable and welcoming. I was greeted with delicious Turkish red tea and warm soup. The chicken doner plate was fit for the consumption of a true king. I felt like royalty, which was a nice break from my torment riding the busy 165 bus. In all, the meal was a delicious symphony of delights. It was a true embarrassment of riches. Whenever I need a re-genesis of soul or nourishment for my senses, I will return to Le Kebab. I will forever be grateful for your service, comfort and shelter from that vile storm the other night. - Brandon Your new loyal fan
