If you've never gone to a karaoke bar, here's the following information you need to know: 1. No reservations are needed unless you're a group of 4 people and more. 2. The only "fee" to partake in the karaoke is to buy a drink. Expect to pay 9$ for a beer 3. You have to look at the song catalogue they have online and search if your song is the system 4.Submit your song and then they'll call you when it's your turn. If there is a lot of people, expect like a 30-45 minute wait. 5. The stage is all yours, so all you have left is to sing your heart out and enjoy your time there! Loved the place. It's small, but everyone there is very chill. I'll have to come again. The staff is super nice and very welcoming The staff there is also super talented! They are all amazing singers! You won't be disappointed! If your server is Fred, you'll be treated like a king. I really recommend this place.
By far one of my favorite places to go to. The staff are exceptionally wonderful. The atmosphere is extremely fun and energetic. There is no Judgement. Everyone was welcomed. Whether you are an amazing singer or only sound good in the shower, everyone encourages one another. This is probably one of the most inclusive and welcoming places I have ever been. I strongly suggest going here for a wonderful time. THE BEST KARAOKE BAR IN MONTREAL!
I was visiting Montreal and begged my son and his partner to take me out for a karaoke experience, and they took me to Le Date. I love everything about this place. All ages, all sizes, all everything! The entertainment was great and the host was wonderful. A joyous atmosphere with great service. I'm a 69 year old straight woman from Calgary, and this place is in the Gay Village. I had a blast, met lots of people, felt totally comfortable, and wish there were similar places in where I live. Very inclusive and friendly. I'll be back!
Came in on a quiet Tuesday night two staff members on, one looked to be working hard the other looked to be having a chat with the one who was working hard. The lazy bar tender looked directly at us, looked us up and down, and turned around. we tried to get service at least three times, with a smile, a hey, and a wave and the available bartender gave us no attention. We didn’t stay for more than 5 minutes because the bar tender had AMPLE oppourtunitues to serve us but was clearly more concerned with chatting and letting his colleague do all the work. Just because it’s a quiet night it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be giving your best most attentive service. And to whoever manages maybe speak to the bar tender with the long stringy bar who was working tonight about their customer service ethic.
It's one of my favorite karaoke spots, drinks are expensive though since they have night time prices but the atmosphere is amazing! I usually make more than a few new friends for the night every time. Also hear french, english and spanish songs too which is fun, good mix of genres typically!Service: 4/5
Well, its just my to go to place.l am there almost once a week just to relax and enjoy karaoke.Nice and friendly bar servers Service: 3/5
Drinks are completely overpriced. I ordered a beer that came out to almost ten dollars before tip and tax, then when I came back to order a second drink the bartender told me off for not tipping the first time I don't mind tipping, I'm just not tipping on a 10$ beer. Every other karaoke bar in Montreal is better than this place.Food: 1/5
Very rude. We moved aside to let people get out of the bar and the security guard refused to let us in because we were « acting drunk ». Did not know showing basic decency made you a drunk. No one in our party was drunk or had even had a drink yet 0/10 do not recommend!Food: 1/5
Last night on October 19th 2023 I was blocked by the security guards from getting inside because I was wearing sandals. I explained that I had already gotten in a few times wearing the same sandals, the security guard then asked two other guards and they all said no. Zero stars for being inclusive. Not a place to go in this “Cartier inclusif” if you wear sandals.
Went there in early afternoon. The bar tender had attitude. The only bar we went in Montreal that asked for more tip moneyFood: 1/5
